Firstly under Settings> Messages> Turn off iMessage, Turn back on again and wait for reactivation which will take a few moments. This will sort the ID issue but not the issue displaying the wrong number. For that you will need to go to your nearest 3 store or on line and ask for a new sim - they seemed to know it was an issue when I went. And transfer happened within 6 hours our so, I had no real loss of service when the number transfered from one sim to another. Hope that helps.
