The color plate is normally located on the drivers door jamb. Most Honda owners should select a factory code for their color (except Honda Passport). Not all Hondas have a factory code, but for ones that do, this code is shown on the color identification plate for 1990 and later models. E.g. if your color code is 'YR-508M' and your factory code is 'A', select 'YR-508M' for your color, then select 'A' for Factory Code. We will then receive the color code 'YR-508M-A' for your order. The pen/brush works well, but the color appears to be lighter than the truck's color. I expected the opposite if the truck's paint were faded from the sun. So the cover up of the dings and scratches does not look very good. I think it just gives some protection over the underlying body. Maybe there is something else that I should do to correct that? Color doesn't quite match I purchased to touch up some scuff marks and scrapes on a 2016 Honda Civic. Unfortunately it's a bit lighter than the car paint. I understand that the original paint might darken over time but the touch up paint seems to be a totally different shade. Hopefully the touch up paint will also darken in a few months. I got the paint code from the car decal and ordered this item. Works pretty good. I liked the clear coat that was included and on the bottom of the pen. The paint matched pretty good from where I applied it.
