For 2022, Jeep is offering the Grand Cherokee SUV in two versions. These are the Grand Cherokee WL and the Grand Cherokee WK. The Grand Cherokee WL has a redesigned, modernized body style with the latest technologies and features. The Grand Cherokee WK has the same styling as the previous generation had, and it is well-appointed with an array of features and technologies. With a closer look at the new Grand Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee WK, you will be able to make a selection that is an excellent fit for you.

Performance

These Grand Cherokee options are offered with a V6, 3.6-liter engine as standard gear. This system produces 293 horsepower. The new Grand Cherokee is also available with optional powertrain systems. The 2.0-liter, four-cylinder plug-in hybrid system is offered for most trim levels, and it produces 375 combined horsepower. Top trims are also available with a 357-horsepower, 5.7-liter, V8 gas engine. These are all combined with an eight-speed auto transmission for both the WK and the new WL versions of the Grand Cherokee.

Appearance

You will notice significant differences in the exterior style of these Grand Cherokee options. The Grand Cherokee WK has the same styling as the previous generation, and this includes a tall profile with flat angles and a rounded nose. The bars that run linearly through the grille connect to rectangular headlights. The sides are deeply sculpted, and the fenders show squared-off wheel wells. The new Grand Cherokee WL has a fresh look with a boxier nose and a flat front. The thin grille connects to slender, stretched LED headlights. The grille is mounted over a beefy lower fascia. The squared-off wheel wells remain, but the sides are noticeably smoother, with crisp accents through the lower portion of the doors.

Features

The New Grand Cherokee WL and the Grand Cherokee WK have many of the same features. These include leather upholstery, a sunroof, heated seats, a navigation system, smart device integration, a power liftgate, a premium sound system, a digital driver’s panel, and other equipment. However, there are differences across the many trim levels that you can explore in full detail during your visit to the showroom.
