Is there a better way to get (Giant Spider Glands)?

1. I just got to Skyhold Keep and have access to the enchanter part of my equipment creation and wanna make Dragon Slaying Weapons and am wondering if theres an easier way to get (Giant Spider Glands) to drop....Im currently farming in the Forbidden Oasis in the STRATOS cave that has giant spiders....can anyone help? Thanx in advance!

1. I had better luck finding the giant spider glands, and poison spider glands, in the hissing wastes. Wound up being able to make a few dragon slaying runes after that. Might have just been dumb luck though, I ran around that place for what felt like forever.

No, but you can drop those from high lvl spiders. Location: Crestwood, Emerald Graves, The Hissing Wastes, The Hinterlands, Forbidden Oasis, Revenant Church, The Storm Coast, The Western Approach Level Ranges: 8-19 http://dragonage3.wiki.fextralife.com/Giant+Spider - wikia link.

Not everywhere they spawn repeatedly but the cave on top of Forbidden Oasis, both on Storm Coast and near first camp in Western Approach I'm pretty sure spawn those even if you come back later )

Giant Spider Gland is one of the Rune Crafting Materials in Dragon Age: Inquisition (DAI). Once the Schematic for a rune has been acquired, the player can produce Runes of that quality/type at will, providing you have the materials necessary. Runes can be crafted before even reaching Skyhold or meeting Dagna, but you must complete either "In Hushed Whispers" or "Champions of the Just" as this is required to spawn the first merchant (Havel) that sells blank rune stones.
