Hair straightener also good to iron collars when in a hurry.

I do this but for sweater strings. I have sweaters that the strings get super twisted in the wash, but the hair straightener is great

I’ve used a straightener to iron whole outfits before haha. College + traveling mostly! Very handy!

I use one almost every morning. I'm a guy and these are great for straightening out the collars on polo or other collared shirts I wear to work but are not normally ironed (the collars like the crease or curl up weird out of the dryer).

Iron is faster. I had wet clothes before a flight. Iron was more than effective (if you have one) but if not, go with the hair dryer

Why use a hair dryer when you can just use an iron? That way, it's not only dry, but also wrinkle-free.

You know what doesn’t? A microwave. Pretty sure I’ve seen this done in a couple 80s movies. Tried it in college. My socks started on fire. Probably biggest lesson learned in college.

To think we've gone 100 years, and this is the first we're hearing about this...

On an old 3DS before it was stolen, a small little ball wedged itself inside the microphone jack on the console. I thought, "I could pierce the ball/try to scoop it out with a toothpick!"

Uh, no, I totally made it worse and managed to push it even further into the hole and it was impossible to get the ball out at that point xD So I couldn't use headphones with it anymore.

But it makes me feel better knowing that whoever stole it and ended up playing with it had to deal with that problem.

Oh also, sometimes when I accidentally spill a bit of water on a shirt, the hair dryer does amazing work for those kinds of things!

Edit: ok guys, I see some good ones, but mostly about laundry. You can do whatever you want, I don't care. It doesn't have to be about laundry!

On laundry days when I forget to restock my bathroom of towels, I use my cat to dry myself off after showering. Cats are surprisingly absorbent!

Don't have time to wash clothes? Febreeze 'em and throw them in the dryer with a dryer sheet for like 10-15 minutes. It tightens them back up a bit, they smell nice, and they're warm and toasty.

When I'm traveling and I don't feel like ironing my dress shirts or slacks, I'll just hang them all on hangars and put them in the bathroom in the hotel. Then I'll turn the shower on full hot and let the room fill with steam for about 20 minutes. That typically gets a majority of the wrinkles out.
