Massive casino offers 3,000 slots plus gaming tables & dining spots within a luxury hotel.

Slide 1 of 3

Huge Casino lot's of slot machines! Great hotel with really nice rooms! It seems like it is smoke free now which makes it much nicer experience! Really nice hotel room if you're to tired to go home! The food was excellent! Everyone loved everything they ordered! Uses REAL bacon for their BLT! Yummy! Of you have not been here I definitely would recommend it!

Beautiful casino with a huge amount of slot machines! Restaurants, shopping are located inside they even have a theater for concerts. Comfortable seats good views all around. Will definitely come back to see another concert here. Acoustics were good.Washrooms are well maintained. No smoking allowed inside which is a plus but people were allowed to smoke too close to leaving the building forcing people to walk through the smoke! The

Disclaimer: dont normally spend much time at casino's. Four winds casino's is not the flashiest casino I have ever been to, that would most likely go to one in Vegas. I do think this casino is very nice and well kept. Everything is well finished and clean. It does not smell saturated with smoke. There are very nice restaurant/ bar options. The buffet has great prime rib Saturday's! The casino does a great job decorating for the holidays and making transitions! I would recommend for adults in the area that have a free night to experience part of southwest Michigan. Great environment to watch sports at the bars and center areas!

Studebaker National Museum

Spacious museum with 3 floors of presidential carriages, car culture history & sleek vintage cars.

This place was amazing! From the building structures to the collection of cars absolutely stunning. I never thought that I can find the very old model of a cars that previous president used. You guys needs to check this place you will never regret it. It’s worth every penny you spend here. Loved it so much!

This is a very impressive museum for both car enthusiasts as well as those interested in history. There are displays that cover Studebakers early years of wagon and coach building all the way to the last car they made. I especially enjoyed seeing the prototypes and specialty vehicles. The facilities are very nice and inviting. There is even a gift shop. You won't be disappointed.

A great collection of cars including presedent vehicles since 1800s, you can take a photo sitting inside a retro car

Warren Dunes State Park

Beech & maple-forested park provides peaceful riverside hikes, picnic space & 311 acres of terrain.

Slide 1 of 4

Catch views from atop the 260-foot-tall dunes at Warren Dunes State Park . Get a State Parks Recreation Passport ($11 resident, $31 nonresident for year-round access or $9 for a day pass) to experience some of the area’s best beaches.

Made a plan of hiking here Saturday morning of a trip to get the day started. I was sorely mistaken on how easy I thought this hike was gong to be. We choose to do the rectangle loop beginning at Nature Trailhead and walking down to the beach and back around. The dunes were awesome to hike! We got a tad lost trying to get back to our car because there aren’t many signs near the beach area. We thought it would be a five mile trail walk and ended up taking 2 hours and burned 800 calories. Overall, 10/10. Bring water and wear sunscreen! Saw a few people other and about, but it wasn’t super packed for a nice day.

Really loved this beach! Took a day trip from Chicago (took about 1.5 hour without tolls) to enjoy the nice weather. It's chillier and windier on the beach than in the park, so I'd recommend being prepared for that. However, the beach was clean and surprisingly long with plenty of spots to hang out. The sand was soft on the beach and dunes, and the parking lots were equally large, providing generous parking capacity. Restrooms were clean and right between the beach and the parking lot. Admission to park for me (non-resident) was $10 and there's re-entry the same day. I can see this place really being a great getaway from the city during the summer, and if it were warmer, going in the lake would be quite refreshing. Highly recommend!

This was the first State Park where there was an honor system self pay box. Please make sure you put your payment in the slotted square post behind the envelope holder, not back into the envelope holder. It was a little confusing at first but we got it figured out. The park pass is only $10 so make sure you have change, money order or a check. The receipt and window display can be detached from the envelope and kept. Visiting Warren Dunes was totally worth the perplexity. Parking was a breeze. Beach access is appx 100 yards down from the parking lot. Camping is permitted. There are plenty of new restroom facilities and a gift shop along the Dunes. Last but not least, Warren Dunes is absolutely beautiful!!

Slide 1 of 3

One of my favorite places on this big giant rock. The food was great, plenty of souvenir shops to choose from. The video screens every where help you stay up with the action at all times.

Loved it! We came here for a campus tour and managed to get tickets. What a great venue. They lost the game but it was great to go and be apart of something like this. If my kid can't get in maybe I'll try. My pics aren't great because I was watching the game. 🤷🏽‍♂️

ICONIC. Went thinking I'd catch a half and then beat traffic or walk around campus but fuggetaboutit stayed for the entire game because it was such an amazing game and experience. What a gorgeous olde stadium with a modern touch. Fans were awesome student section was loud and the Notre Dame band was out of this freaking world. I've never seen a bigger band in my life and the music was spot on. Stayed to get some pictures as the stadium emptied and didn't regret waiting. If you visit go to a game and soak in an amazing day.

Striking 19th-century Catholic church known for its many stained-glass windows & frescoes.

Slide 1 of 3

This place is absolutely gorgeous. If you are ever on the campus of Notre Dame make sure you come and visit this basilica. I think I have been to all the basilicas in the world now so it feels good to visit this one again. The inside is very quiet and serene so make sure you are respectful when coming in. You don’t have to be Catholic to appreciate this beauty.

So beautiful that words and photos can't capture. Easy to get on campus, you get a one hour pass from the security at the gate. Definitely recommend visiting!!

The place was nothing short of gorgeous! It was serene and carried a lot of historical and religious value. Be aware that there are always people having a wedding photoshoot so be mindful of scheduled times and church sessions.

I love it here! I have worked here for 15 years and don't plan to leave anytime soon. Plenty to do and see, people are kind, as it's a beautiful campus. Plus, who doesn't love the best football team?

We always enjoy our visits to the University of Notre Dame to cheer on our Fighting Irish! Excellent hospitality on this beautiful campus and the tailgating is fun and always good for making new friends! Can't wait to go back again!

Gorgeous and historic campus. The grounds and buildings are beautiful. Several historic sites to visit including the Basilica, dome and library. Notre Dame stadium is also amazing! The ushers and staff were so helpful and kind. Overall great experience!

Wine was phenomenal. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly in helping us with wine selection. Got 2 flights each ( 6 pours each) for $24. Was able to mix and match wines, spirits, and beer as well which many establishments don't allow. Wine was fantastic. Highly recommend and I don't understand why this place sits at a 4 star rating.

My wife and I love supporting Michigan made products and decided to try the Blueberry flavored wine. I myself am not a wine drinker, my wife had not even a half of a glass and later started to feel horrible. Everyone in the home had the same meal while my wife added a glass of wine, she started complaining of severe stomach pains and subsequently ended up hovering over the toilet for several hours throwing up. Maybe the blueberries went south, unfortunately this will be the only experience we will have with Round Barn Winery.

We had a great tasting. The igloos are free to sit in and the tastings are $12 each. Cool atmosphere.

Over 100 years young, this charming double lighthouse and the surrounding scenery (dunes, beach, tall grasses) is beautiful in all sorts of Michigan weather.

Amusement park ride

Water & Amusement Parks

Classic restored merry-go-round with painted animals & music from a vintage band organ.

Slide 1 of 3

What a magical day we had! My son's first carousel ride. We reserved a ticket in advance for the one hour slot. We rode every ride for the entire hour and my son was so excited and overjoyed. The staff is amazing, kind, knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and fun! The carousel is in such impeccable shape. Do this, and then head to the beach for a dip - you won't regret it!

We had our wedding reception at the Shadowland Ballroom and rented the carousel for one hour during the event. It was FANTASTIC! The staff is great to work with and were excellent communicators leading up to the event. We had 150 guests (all older than 21) and the carousel was a hit. We did our rental from 8:00-9:00pm, so right after we finished dinner at 6:45, we did the first dance, mother / son, father / daughter dances, and went straight out to the carousel to do our professional photos before opening it up to guests. I liked that timeline because guests could get a drink or two in them first before enjoying the ride. Photos on the carousel did take longer than I expected, so the full hour was pretty necessary. If you’re debating whether or not to book the carousel for your event, I recommend you go ahead and do so. It’s super fun! And as a bonus they give you 60 free ride tokens at the end. We’re including them in our thank you cards! Ben Pancoast was our photographer and did an INCREDIBLE job!! Bridesmaids dresses on Rent the Runway, hair and makeup Hanna Wagner Design out of Grand Rapids.

A must visit!!! One of the absolute coolest carousels in the country, maybe the world! A ride is affordable and a lot of fun. The carousel is very well maintained, structurally sound, authentic and quite festive. The line is never too long and there are plenty of fun things to look at and interact with while waiting. Often times, they will also have bean bag toss (cornhole) and side walk chalk right outside the surrounding glass doors. The carousel is also attached to the Curious Kid's Museum Discovery Zone, which is great for kids ~age 2-6. Bathrooms are VERY nice and clean.

Surfari Joe's Indoor Wilderness Water Park-CLOSED

Water park

Water & Amusement Parks

Safari-themed indoor water park at the Fairfield Inn & Suites features 2 large water slides.

Slide 1 of 3

This is a hidden gem! It was wonderful and there’s so much for the kids to do. We enjoyed the water slides & especially the lazy river. The Cafe wasn’t open despite it being a busy weekend (went in January, 2020). Nicely located and adjoins to the hotel. The hotel had a really nice breakfast that was included and had a full array of breakfast food & beverages. I didn’t care for the pool life jackets and would probably see if you can bring your own for smaller kids.

I've been calling there for several months and the water park is still closed. I doubt the arcade is up and running yet either. I've been really wanting to take my Kids there but unfortunately after this long and always getting excuses about the water park needing parts and they still haven't came in yet tells me that it's more than likely never going to reopen. Everything I call whichever month it is they always say they expect it to be ready at the end of the month. Yeah okay! Also management doesn't answer emails

The place is completely shutdown. They told us for renovations but there was not a single renovation going on. Still charged three hundred a night. No cleaning service as well. The staff was the only good thing there. They are all completely wonderful but whoever owns this thing is using covid to the extreme to make money and provide no services. Other hotels in the area at least have a pool open and are serving hot breakfasts. Look around, better hotels in the area offering more.

Wonderful bike trail worth visiting. It’s from south haven that goes further towards Kalamazoo. Part of it was paved but towards Grand Junction path was narrow and mostly gravel. It has scenic view and mostly flat surface biking with old bridge and some historic sites. It’s a good ride for bikers who enjoys long rides with serene outdoor feel!

It was a great day for this trail. Everything here is great with the exception of one thing. You can see I'm the photos were the wooden path on the water is rotting and deteriorating, which is hazard for small children and heavy adults. One of the items that really stood out is the two fire pits asking the trail. It's a great place to stop for a break.

Very nice, beautiful, tranquil.....I will come back......I would like to try the hike, from South Haven Michigan to Kalamazoo Michigan...here is just a few pics, only went a about a little over a mile in...

What a wonderful experience! Our party had a private area for the wine tasting and meat and cheese platter. The service was to much and the location was simply lovely!!!!! The only "problem" , if you will, is choosing from all of the delicious wine offerings to take home. Yes, we will be back.

A suggestion from my boss' wife. They had an event but we were still able to do a wine tasting at the 'bar'. Denise assisted us and she was very pleasant. We tried 7 different samples (technically 14, 7 each) and had some hits and misses. We did bring 4 bottles home with one being a gift for the suggesty. Nice experience and some decent wines.

The wine is 5 stars but the place is kind of boring inside. If it's nice weather I recommend sitting outside, since the grounds are nicer than being inside.

This experience is pretty awesome. Nate was our tour guide/driver and he was super funny and energetic which we loved. It seems to go by so fast but it was 45 minutes. I wish I was out there longer, it went by fast but so much fun. Nice views, and good time. I would recommend checking this adventure out. Thanks Nate for making it awesome. They seem to always be sold out so act quickly!

Iconic attraction for locals and natives, operating since the 1950s, the dune rides are a highlight attraction in Saugatuck. Great guides, beautiful trails and fun history. Bonus: super interesting to fly over and see the trail, check it out on your next flight.

We had a great ride with this outfit. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the history and subsequent creation of these sand dunes. Bernie was our supee guide that gave us a drive of our lives. He starts off and shows his reverse driving abilities without being on the seat . His fun jokes rival those of the Disneyland Jungle cruise and could easily start his own show. He intertwined that with speed cruising through the sands that only a Nascar driver could handle . I also need to mention his knowledge and history of the area and the affect of civilization in the 1900's created this dunes. I would recommend you go here and enjoy the ride. My only complaint really is that it was longer . Hated to go. Thanks for a great time.

Stop in and visit Big Red lighthouse at Holland State Park, then end the evening with a fancy dinner at The Butler in Saugatuck. These West Michigan gems are also ideal for doing a little shopping or picking up souvenirs for family and friends.

We camped in the beach campground and had a phenomenal time. Everything was neat and tidy. The beach was 4 campsites down from ours, providing beautiful Lake Michigan Sunsets! The modern bathrooms and showers were well kept and clean. The camp host this weekend was super nice. We had a lovely time.

Beautiful place to take a meditative walk in the winter. Summers are for crowd lovers only. Easy flat access to beach from parking. Down the road at Tunnel Park there is a very steep decline to traverse to access the beach from the parking area.

Great trail on the shorter side. Can be steep at the beginning and end but other than that, it's a nice hike with a lovely view of lake Michigan, the red lighthouse and the sand dunes. The campground itself is pretty tight quarters. Not many trees, so I wouldn't count on using hammocks. It seems like primarily an rv park. It does have bathrooms and showers in the center of the campground.

See the Holland Windmill at Windmill Island Gardens Windmill Island Gardens1 Lincoln Ave, Holland, MI 49423 View the Authentic, Historic…

What a lovely stop! I loved the conservatory and also learning so much about the windmill and its rich history. Though I was looking forward to buying some of the local flour, I understand how COVID's impact made that impossible. Just being able to climb up inside it was amazing! All of the staff we spoke to were friendly and eager to share their knowledge. It was still chilly for our visit (so not everything was in bloom) but there was plenty to see.

This is a beautiful place to come and stroll, they have a marsh with all kinds of wildlife. The windmill is very fascinating to tour, the historic street organ was beautiful, just to see this historic gem and to see the inside and how it works was amazing and a wonderful learning experience. They have gift shops and a carousel that gives free rides every hour. I enjoyed my walk through this Netherlandish replica. I loved the women walking around in classic Dutch clothing and shoes. I recommend everyone take their family at least one time. You don’t have to go during the tulip festival I believe it’s something you can do all year round.

Great place to visit! Amazing tulips! Open to the public. $12 per person. Gift shop, and food available. Great opportunity to see the tulips that you can order for home. Nice easy hole around tulip fields. Windmill was accessible.

How to Spend a Great Day at Nelis’ Dutch Village Nelis’ Dutch Village 12350 James St, Holland, MI 49424(616) 396-1475…

Great experience. Just opened for the season (April 24), and things will definitely run smoother through through season. The presentations are what really give the full adventure. Wood shoe making, cheese making, butter churning, school house, and of course Dutch dancing. Try every flavor of cheese and every flavor of fudge. Ice cream shop and a pub with good (slightly overpriced, as expected) food. Indoor and outdoor seating for both. There are also a few rides and a couple different playgrounds, the kids will definitely be entertained. Bathrooms (either porta-potty or indoors) leave a little to be desired, but aren't the worst ever.

Not been here o a long time. It is was a nice to day. Why not go enjoy the day in Holland Michigan. Its changed slot. And that's a good thing. I still want to go to the tulip garden. Never been there. Next I will. Go early for sure!

I took my family here, it was the 1st time visiting and it was wonderful. All the stuff there is to do and learn is great, but I think the best part is the workers who truly seem to enjoy their jobs and were very friendly, very educational, and took the time to answer any of our questions.

Our 80’s dance band, The 1985, LOVES playing on Gun Lake Casino’s awesome stage! The crowds are really great and love to dance with us. The staff is helpful and works hard to make our experience great! We always look forward to playing here!

Big casino! Lots of games! Smoke free! Food was not the best. Looks a lot better than it tastes! Might want to eat before you go! Other than that it was a great time! I suggest going for the games not the food! Love that it is smoke free now! Much more enjoyable this way!

Took a friend there, clean, not crowded on a Wednesday night. Didn’t see any one winning…but totally focused on spending their money. Most looked like they couldn’t afford to loose the money. I guess if you can afford to loose it’s entertaining, did look like fun if you didn’t need the money. My friend played cards and lost a lot. I hope I don’t need to come here again, hate to see people loosing money that they need for other things. Left depressed, I think it’s an illness, just my opinion…

Sandy beach area on 48 acres with swimming, sunbathing, scenic views, a fishing pier & a lighthouse.

This is a larger more frequented park for the area. Lots of parking, dogs can be walked on the beach ( check posted signs for certain hours). Beautifully lit walkway to the lighthouse at the end. There is also an area to park and get out to take pics from the other side of the inlet. It's less crowded and has a different perspective for pictures. We like to come here because we can still see our dogs in the car when we come to get pics of sunset. Definitely a spot to come hang out for some fun time.

One of the most iconic piers and lighthouses on the great lakes. Although there are many beaches up and down the coast that can claim better landscapes and facilities, with its proximity to the great Michigan beach town of Grand Haven, there are few places that can offer so much all within walking distance

We can’t but include a trip to a zoo in the list of things to do in Grand Rapids for couples.

We're in the area currently for a concert and needed some time to kill before checking into our hotel, so we stumbled across this zoo. And I will say, it's really nice! Spacious enclosures for the animals, nice graphics that talk about the animals, facts about how endangered they are. The aquarium was really cool, and the penguin habitat was great. They seemed really happy. The animals appeared to be healthy and well cared for. They have a petting zoo as well, which was fun to do. Because of the time of year, only a few places to eat were open, and the one place we went to had a pretty long wait (like 20ish minutes). But the food was decent, normal zoo food. Really enjoyed going here. The price of admission wasn't insane either. Would love to come back in the summer when more animals are out.

Lions, tigers, and bears... Literally. Great zoo for the price. It has a unique layout due to being built into a hillside. You get several vantage points of different animals because of this. It's also a great place to watch a variety of animals nap 😉 definitely worth checking out if you're visiting the area. Soon it will also have koalas! Go already

Very nice, clean zoo. Small but a nice assortment of animals, some I've never seen before in person. The enclosures were spacious for each animal, I like that. I also liked that the signs told the stories of some of the animals including how/why they were in a zoo. My favorites were the eagles (bald and 2 golden), the grizzlies, and the reptiles/amphibians. Didn't get to see some animals because of the heat, but that's pretty normal in a zoo. Would have loved to see the snow leopards and somehow we missed the red pandas. There were some beautiful Lego displays of animals throughout the park, mostly at the entrance, that were fascinating.

I'm in town on a business trip and made a point to free up an hour to visit the Museum, and in glad I did! They just reopened yesterday and the staff were so excited to have visitors return! The Cabinet Room, Oval Office, and Assassination Attempt Gun were the highlights! I even was able to pay my respects at the tombs of the President and First Lady on the grounds. I am so glad I visited - and an hour was just the right amount of time!

The Gerald Ford Presidential Museum is a fitting testimonial to America’s only unintentional President. Living proof we live in a country of laws and not men. How great to have the museum in the hometown. Great exhibits and interactive presentations.

Wow, what a great piece of American history here. There is lots of fascinating memorabilia and interactive features. While Ford may not have been the most influencial president, he did preside over some of the most influencial times in US history. Great place to take the kids, or just learn some more about American history for all ages.

My husband took me here as a surprise day trip and I was absolutely floored by how amazing this place was! I never seen so many incredibly cool sculptures and artwork and so much historical things and then the best part we hadn't even got to the BEST PART yet which was the butterfly gardens. Butterflies are my most favorite thing in the whole world and it was so jaw dropping, they land on you, they're everywhere! So beautiful!! they're so colorful and amazing! The butterfly House where the butterflies live the best life ever in itself is absolutely breathtaking! Everybody in the world should come visit this place! There's only one negative the line is so so long but that's understandable they do their best to work you through fast so come early.

Such a neat place. Loved the indoor plant displays. We were there while they were doing their butterfly exhibit, which was awesome. (Butterflies are my favorite!) We also did the nature walk, visited the Japanese Garden, and walked around the sculpture park. Highly recommend!

It was really cool to see international sculptures in grand rapids. I've personally never been to a sculpture garden but it's cool to listen to everyone's interpretation of what they think the sculpture represents if the artist won't tell you. Sometimes the artists actually visit the gardens which is really cool to hear what they have to say about their own work. The Japanese garden was may favorite, probably because of my affinity for Japanese culture and art. They have a tea house in which they actually do tea ceremonies there every once in a while, but you have to reserve a spot for yourself if you want to experience that. There are plenty of different types of flora and lots of ponds and waterfalls. A very nice place to forget all of your issues and just relax. When I went it was like 90° F so I was focusing more on not being dehydrated but I did take some time to sit on a bench in the shade and just reflect. The art is very abstract if you're into that. Plus the visitor center is air-conditioned so it feels nice to go in after being in the hot sun.

Slide 1 of 3

This place is so cute! Off the beaten path just enough to be a scenic drive. The animals look well kept and happy. And of course feeding the giraffes was my two littles favorite. FYI - they like the leaves better than the carrots. They have plenty of statues for photos ops if you like, a couple of playgrounds, a train, and a concession stand. The store has plenty of things to buy if you want to purchase some memorabilia too.

This is a nice zoo. They are adding on also No safari anymore, they made the road into a nice walking trail so you walk to see the animals. Feeding the giraffes was great. They also have nice concession stand with a variety of food choices at a decent price or you can bring in a picnic lunch. Overall a very zoo.

This place is a must visit. My 3 year old son had the best time! It was so cool to be able to pet and feed such a wide variety of animals. Feeding the giraffe was my son's favorite part. It was really awesome getting to stand so close to one. The parakeet area was also very cool.

What a great getaway destination. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, without being suffocating. Golf courses were in pristine condition, and the conveniently located townhouse was well appointed, clean and comfy.

Great runs. Good for family outings. Rooms were nice, not super updated, but comfortable enough. I would go back for sure.
