Dead end paranormal park musical episode

While I'm sure everyone here is familiar with Patrick's side-career of making music for kids film & TV, I wanted to point out Dead End because it seems like he got carte blanche to do something really cool with it.

The entire show is about a pair of kids working security at an extremely haunted theme park (think Dollywood with more demons), and has a lot of fun world building, great queer characters, and tons of charm.

But it really excels on the ninth episode, The Phantom of the Theme Park - which is an entire Broadway-style musical featuring multiple original songs written by Patrick, with him even doing vocals in the opening number. You've got the requisite I Want song, a love duet, a tango number, revivals, and a few legit rock opera moments. If you've ever been curious what Stump unleashed on Broadway might sound like - give it a look.

The whole soundtrack isn't up on Spotify yet, but 'My Frankenstein' is, probably the most rock-opera track of the episode.

Norma is also confirmed by Steele to be autistic, another lovely discovery before delving into the show.

What gender is Courtney from dead end?

Trivia. Despite having they/them pronouns in the comics, she uses she/her in the show. Hamish Steele explained this change was made to avoid the controversial "non-human, non-binary" trope and was persuaded to use the pronouns of her voice actress, Emily Osment, when she was cast.
