How to Find Fire ArrowsWhen you first begin the game and talk with the old man, you can find the Temple of Time to the east of where you first meet this elderly helper. Venture toward the temple and you’ll see a skull-like structure to the east of the Temple of Time. A band of enemies await inside the skull, with one lookout on a tower just outside. West of the skull is a camp with two enemies and some explosive barrels. If you use one of these barrels you can clear out the enemies at the skull with relative easy. You can even be extra sneaky and climb up from behind the skull, snipe the lookout, then take an explosive barrel to dispatch of the enemies inside the skull. However you plan to take out the enemies, once they’re cleared, the chest inside the skull will unlock. Inside the chest you will find a set of five Fire Arrows. You can use the Fire Arrows as a more damaging projectile weapon, but more importantly they can be used to start a fire. When you’re traversing the colder areas on the northern portion of the plateau you can warm yourself or light your torch by dropping some wood on the ground and shooting a Fire Arrow at it. Later in the game you can find Fire Arrows at various village shops and wandering merchants. The ability to light a fire whenever you want can save you from death if you happen to put your torch away or you need to run away from something. This makes the Fire Arrows extremely valuable so don’t use them randomly on enemies until you’ve made it through the colder climates of the opening area. If you need more assistance making it through the cold areas, we’ve got you covered. You can also find more helpful articles in our Zelda: Breath of the Wild game hub!
