1st Warning (December 1978–Early 1980s)

Warning: On a dark screen, we see the orange words:

Availability: Extremely rare, as it appears at the beginning of some Disney Super 8mm digests from the late 1970s and early 1980s.

2nd Warning (March 4, 1980–October 1983; October 1983–July 15, 1984, Mid 1985 [second screen])

Warning: On a blue background, we see a black box with the letters "FBI" and the FBI logo below that on the left side of the screen. Above and to the right is the word "WARNING" in yellow and below that is the white “Title 17, U.S. Code, Sections 501 and 506” warning text (shown above).

The screen fades to a blue screen with the yellow text (in Times New Roman font):

Variants:

• The order of the screens is reversed on some videos.
• Canadian VHS tapes replace the FBI screen with a third screen similar to the second, except both the second and third screens are displayed on a light violet background and both warning texts are shown in an orange Helvetica font. This variation is put before the standard warning text:

• Although the "No duplication" notice never appeared on-screen in the United States until 2000, it would appear on the tape labels alongside a repeat of the notice on the second screen (with the order of the "All other rights reserved" and "Commercial use prohibited" sentences reversed) starting in 1987.
• On Canadian French VHS tapes, the second and third screens are displayed on a darker blue background and both warning texts are displayed in French. The warning texts are also shown in a dark gold Helvetica font.

Music/Sounds: None, which all these FBI warnings are famous for.

Availability:

• Appears at the beginning of WDHV VHS releases from 1980-83, such as The Black Hole, Pete's Dragon (1977), Escape to Witch Mountain, Tex, The Devil and Max Devlin, Condorman, Night Crossing, The Wind in the Willows (1949), Goofy Over Sports, Pollyanna, A Walt Disney Christmas, Johnny Tremain, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and Storybook Classics.
• The French Canadian variant is very hard to come by, since it only appears on French Canadian VHS releases from the early 80's, such as the 1984 French Canadian VHS release of Robin des Bois. To find the French Canadian variant on other VHS releases, your best bet is to visit any store in Quebec that sells used videotapes.
• This warning screen made its final appearances on the 1983 VHS releases of Walt Disney Cartoon Classics Volumes 1-3, Something Wicked This Way Comes, Trenchcoat, and The Great Locomotive Chase.

3rd Warning (October 1983–July 15, 1984, Mid 1985 [first screen])

Warning: It's almost the same as the 1981-2006 Warner Home Video warning screen, but "WARNING" is gray and the background is poppy red. It also contains the ”$250,000 fine” warning text below “WARNING” this time. Then the screen fades to the same blue "Licensed" screen mentioned above.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability:

• Seen on the U.S. issues of WDHV VHS releases from 1983-84 (their Canadian counterparts have the "For Sale Only Rental Prohibited" notice and the previous warning) such as Walt Disney Cartoon Classics Volumes 1-10, Walt Disney Cartoon Classics: Limited Gold Edition, Animal Quiz Volumes 1-3, The Wind in the Willows, Big Red, Running Brave, The Boatniks, In Search of the Castaways, Tiger Town, Follow Me Boys, The Happiest Millionaire, The Parent Trap, Kidnapped, Lucky Luke: Daisy Town, Lucky Luke: The Ballad of Daltons, Snowball Express, Storybook Classics, American Heroes, The Devil and Max Devlin, Condorman, Old Yeller, Stories and Fables Vols 1-6, later printings of Something Wicked This Way Comes, and Tron.
• Can also be spotted on early North American Muppet Home Video VHS releases that Disney distributed, including the original VHS release of Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas.
• It last appeared on the 1984 VHS releases of Son of Flubber, The Castaway Cowboy, Welcome to Pooh Corner Vol. 1, and Five Mile Creek Vol. 1. However, it was retained on the 1985 re-releases of The Apple Dumpling Gang and Hot Lead and Cold Feet.

4th Warning (July 15, 1984–October 25, 2005 [first and second screens]; April 12, 2005–November 10, 2020 [second screen])

Warning: On a colored background, we see a box with the FBI logo on the left, and then the standard "$250,000" warning text on the right. This fades to a second screen with the same "Licensed" text from the 2nd warning, also in a different font.

Variants:

• On U.S. Spanish tapes from 1984 onwards, and on U.S. English releases from 1986 to 1987 and from 1991 to 2005, the FBI logo, along with the entire warning text, is enclosed on a rounded rectangle.

1984-91 version:

• On U.S. English 1984-1991 tapes, the FBI shape is a red-orange vertical bar, and the text is in a Peignot font on a white background. The "Licensed" text is also in a Peignot font and on a red-orange background.
• A few 1991 VHS releases would have all of the text in a Goudy Old Style font.
• Walt Disney World videos had all of the text in a different sans serif font. The warning text beside the FBI logo is black instead of the usual red. Also, the phrase "ANY PUBLIC PERFORMANCE, COPYING OR OTHER USE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED." is included in both screens.
• On some VHS releases, the first screen would slideshow to the next, rather than fading out.
• There is a variant of the 1984 warning in which the second screen crossfades to a red background, after which the text fades in. This version has text that looks chyroned in.
• On Canadian VHS releases only, there is a variant in which the warning text fades to red, and then the Duplication notice fades in. This version has chyroned text.
• There is a special "rainbow" variant on videos from Walt Disney Educational Productions in the 1980s. Despite its nickname, however, the background is actually a lavender/prawn gradient.
• A prototype version was used, which contains the same warning text from A&M Video's warning screen.
• On the 1991 VHS release of Fantasia (one of the last VHS tapes to use the 1984 warning screen), the length of time each warning is on screen is cut in half, making it four seconds instead of the usual eight.
• There exists a Spanish version on U.S. Spanish releases. The first screen has now changed to be something like the 1986 warning, and the text is much smaller and in a different font. The second screen applies this as well, making the text hard to read.
• On releases from Hubley Studios like The Ages of Humankind, The Cosmic Eye, and Flights of Fancy, a third screen is added in a similar format to the Spanish warning, reading "Due to the mature themes presented in portions of the following materials, parental discretion regarding younger viewers is advised."
• On a Palladium Books/Harmony Gold VHS release of Robotech II: The Sentinels, the first screen is positioned on the left side of the screen.
• A later variant exists on WDEP 1991-early 2000s tapes, where background is blue, the FBI seal is revised and in color, and the text is in Helvetica.

1986-92 version:

• On 1986-1987 U.S. English releases, the FBI warning seal is white on a red background, and the "Licensed" screen is in a Helvetica font.
• On Canadian VHS pressings, the warning screen would slideshow to the Duplication notice.
• On American Spanish-language copies of VHS tapes, all of the text is translated to Spanish, the rounded rectangle is gone, leaving only the rectangle containing FBI and its logo, and the transition is a fade to and then from red instead of a slideshow cut.
• On French-Canadian copies of VHS tapes, all of the text is translated to French (Canadian-French, specifically). This was used until 1992.

1991-2000 version:

• On tapes and DVDs from 1991 to 1997, the background is grass green, the "WARNING" text is in Gill Sans Bold and the "$250,000 fine" text is in Grass Green Medium, and the warning text in the second screen is in a Helvetica Bold font and in five lines instead of six like in the 1984 and 1986 versions.
• On the 1992 VHS release of Beauty and the Beast, the two screens only remain on screen for 8 seconds each, possibly to accommodate the Sleeping Beauty theatrical rerelease trailer.
• From 1997 to 2000, the background is also grass green, the fonts are revised and the second screen is rephrased, replacing "LICENSED FOR PRIVATE HOME EXHIBITION ONLY" with "THIS VIDEOCASSETTE (or DVD or LASERDISC) IS FOR PRIVATE HOME VIEWING ONLY. IT IS NOT LICENSED FOR ANY OTHER USE." The text in the first screen is now in Futura Condensed Bold, whereas the text from the second screen is still displayed in Helvetica Bold, but spaced closer together than in the original version. The fade in on this variant is also faster and the warning screens are digitally videotaped instead of telecined.
• On the 1997 Deluxe LaserDisc release of Toy Story, the LaserDisc versions of the two 1997 screens only remain on screen for 8 seconds each. This was done to accommodate the THX "Tex" trailer, which made its debut on this LaserDisc, as explained on the disc's commentary.
• A Spanish translation is used on American Spanish-language VHS tapes. The 1st screen also is no longer rounded.
• The word "VIDEOCASSETTE" or "DVD" may be replaced with "VHS OR DVD" in the late 1997 version, as seen on pre-2008 NCircle Entertainment DVD releases, pre-2012 Cookie Jar/DHX/DiC DVDs from NCircle, and The Incredible World of DiC Home Entertainment VHS tapes and DVDs from Sterling Entertainment Group.
• There is also a rare digitally-videotaped DVD variant of the 1991 warning screens available, with the FBI seal a bit bolder, the text in a Helvetica font, and the lining of the text in the second screen spaced out vertically and horizontally.
• On some 1998-2000 DVDs, the screens of the 1997 variant cut to one another.
• A French translation of the grass green warning is seen on French-Canadian VHS tapes.

2000-20 version:

• On VHS tapes and DVDs from 2000 to 2005, the color has changed from green to navy blue; and the second screen follows it as usual, with the 1997-2000 text now in lowercase, the font now in Helvetica Bold Condensed, and "authorized" replacing "licensed." In addition, "Duplication in whole or in part of this [videocassette/DVD] is prohibited." is now featured in-between the two lines, and appears on-screen on U.S. releases for the first time (previously, it had only appeared on-screen in Canada, and on tape labels in both countries).
• In the summer of 2003, the text on the second screen was expanded. Although this variant was discontinued in VHS in 2005, Blu-ray and DVDs contained to use this variant until 2011 and 2020, respectively. The text in this variant reads:

• A Spanish translation is used on Spanish-language North American VHS tapes.
• On Canadian VHS tapes with the 2000 warning, only the second screen is shown.
• A French translation of the navy blue warning is used on French-Canadian VHS tapes.
• On DVDs and later VHS tapes, the warning screens cut to each other rather than fade.
• A special variant appears exclusively on the 2001 Vista Series DVD release of Unbreakable, before the Touchstone Home Entertainment logo. A "stretched" 16:9 version of the second warning screen appears first. It's followed by a redesigned version of the first warning screen, which breaks apart after a few seconds.
• On the 2002 Special Edition DVD release of Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, a black screen appears in-between the first and second screens.
• On Blu-rays from 2006-11, the second screen is displayed in Arial Narrow Bold font.
• On some DVDs from 2003-05, both screens appear in widescreen.

FX/SFX:

• The fading on 1984-2003 VHS tapes and the 2003 DVD release of The Hole.
• The fading and cutting on VHS tapes. (2003-2005)
• The cutting on DVD (especially Blu-ray) releases. (1997-present)
• The shattering effects on the Unbreakable variant.

Music/Sounds: None usually, though the Unbreakable FBI warnings are accompanied by a glass shattering sound when they break.

Music/Sounds Variants: On Descriptive Video Service tapes, a DVS narrator reads out the warning. Examples:

• On the 1996 DVS VHS release of Toy Story, a young female narrator (Kria Sakakeeny) reads out the first screen (preceded by "A warning appears") in part and the second screen in full.
• On the DVS VHS of Scream (1996), an older male announcer (Peter Haydu) reads out both screens in full (preceded by "A warning").
• On the 1997 DVS VHS of Phenomenon, another female narrator (Wendy Sakakeeny) reads out the same portion of the text as on Toy Story, except it's preceded with "A warning."
• On the 2002 DVS VHS of Spy Kids, Peter Haydu says "A warning," and reads all but the third line of text on the second screen over both screens.
• On the 2005 DVS VHS of Finding Neverland, Chloe Leamon says "A warning," and reads the first line of text on the first screen over both screens and the start of the Miramax Home Entertainment logo.
• On the 2007 DVS VHS of Eight Below, Peter Haydu says "A warning," and reads the second line of text on the first screen over both it and the 2005 warning, before finishing at the very start of the Walt Disney Pictures logo.

Availability: Common. Seen on VHS/DVD/Blu-ray releases from Walt Disney Home Video/Walt Disney (Studios) Home Entertainment and its subsidiaries from 1984-2020, lasting a total of 37 years.

1984-91 version:

• The Goudy Old Style prototype version was seen only on a few WDHV, Touchstone Home Video and Hollywood Pictures Home Video VHS releases from 1991 (including the VHS reprint of Disney's Sing-Along Songs: You Can Fly, Sebastian's Caribbean Jamboree, Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day, The Reluctant Dragon, Mickey's Magical World, Bongo, Ben and Me, Oscar, What About Bob?, and VHS compilations of episodes of the television series Dinosaurs).
• The alternate font variant can be seen on old 80s Walt Disney World promotional videos.
• The one with the text fading in after the background is extremely rare, and can be seen on the original VHS release of The Brave Little Toaster, the 1991 VHS reprint of Sing Along Songs: Fun with Music, the 1991 U.S./Canadian VHS print of The Rescuers Down Under, a 1991 Canadian print VHS of Pretty Woman, and the 1991 Mini-Classics VHS releases of Peter and the Wolf, Willie the Operatic Whale, Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too and Winnie the Pooh and A Day for Eeyore.
• The one which slideshows can be spotted on the 1987 American VHS print of Alice in Wonderland (1951), early copies of The Sword in the Stone (1963), Sleeping Beauty (1959), Walt Disney Cartoon Classics Volumes 8-10 (1987), Walt Disney Cartoon Classics Special Edition (1988), Outrageous Fortune, and Stakeout.
• The prototype variation is rare, but can be spotted on the original 1984 VHS prints of Splash, You and Me Kid Volume 1, The Incredible Journey, Disney’s Halloween Treat, Stories and Fables Volumes 7-8, Animal Quiz Volumes 4-6, Five Mile Creek Volumes 2-3, Steve Allen's Music Room Volume 1, Pogo for President: I Go Pogo, The Twelve Tasks of Asterix, and Mickey's Christmas Carol.
• Although the 1991 VHS release of Fantasia and the demo tape of Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken were the latest titles with the original red-orange/white warning, it appeared on reprints of tapes with this warning that lacked updated previews. These include an April 1994 printing of Disney's Sing-Along Songs: The Bare Necessities, and Zip A Dee Doo Dah, and most reprints of the early 90s Touchstone sell-through titles (in print as late as 2002).
• Can also be spotted on Muppet Home Video VHS releases of The Muppet Musicians of Bremen and Fraggle Songs.
• The Spanish-translated variant has been spotted on a 1986 American Spanish VHS release of Mary Poppins.
• The first screen was also seen on a Palladium Books/Harmony Gold VHS release of Robotech II: The Sentinels.
• The special blue/red version was seen on 1990s Walt Disney Educational Productions VHS tapes, as well as Bill Nye the Science Guy DVDs from WDEP.

1986-92 version:

• The dark red version of the warning was used on the original 1986 Walt Disney Classics VHS print of Sleeping Beauty, as well as the 1986 Classics VHS reprint of Pinocchio (1940) and an early 1987 VHS print of The Three Caballeros.
• It can also be seen on most 1986 Disney VHS tapes. Your best bets are ones that also have the Video Dealer Announcement on them, such as Down and Out in Beverly Hills, Ten Who Dared, Five Mile Creek Volumes 14-20, Off Beat, The Fabulous Fleischer Folio Volumes 5-6, The World's Greatest Athlete, No Deposit No Return, A Tiger Walks, and the first video releases of Disney's Sing-Along Songs: Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah and Winnie the Pooh and a Day for Eeyore). This was also found on United States VHS printings of Ruthless People, while its Canadian counterpart uses the previous warning screen (with the Video Dealer Announcement included on both versions).
• From 1990-91, it made a surprise comeback on demo tapes from the Buena Vista umbrella. Titles from the era with this include Big Business, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, Mr. Destiny, The Jungle Book (1967) (1991 WDC release), Taking Care of Business, The Rescuers Down Under, and a double feature pressing of Run and Shipwrecked.
• The Video Dealer Announcement was omitted on the original 1987 VHS and Beta releases of Disney's Sing-Along Songs: Heigh-Ho (later pre-1990 VHS printings omitted the warning screens entirely), 1986 release of Mickey's Christmas Carol, 1987 release of Feelin Goofy, Memorable Mickey, Delightfully Donald, the first five Walt Disney Cartoon Classics volumes, and Bell & Howell/Columbia Pictures/Paramount Video Services VHS pressings of Mickey Knows Best and The Importance of Being Donald.
• The Spanish variant of the dark red warnings appeared on the American Spanish-dubbed VHS tapes of Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree and Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too.
• The French Canadian variant of the dark red warnings was last seen on the 1992 French Canadian VHS of Basil Detective Prive (The Great Mouse Detective).

1991-2000 version:

• This green version of the warning screen has been spotted on almost every Walt Disney Home Video VHS release (standard, Classic, and Masterpiece) from the 90s, beginning with later pressings of the 1991 WDC VHS issues of The Jungle Book (1967), Robin Hood (1973), The Rescuers Down Under and Alice in Wonderland (1951), subsequent printings of the 1991 VHS release of DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp, and the Walt Disney‘s Studio Film Collection VHS tapes (all containing the 1991 variant).
• The green version of the warning screen is also spotted on many VHS and DVD releases from Buena Vista's subsidiary labels. Touchstone Home Video and Hollywood Pictures Home Video used the warning from the start, while other labels used it as they were established or brought under the Disney umbrella - Jim Henson Video (starting in 1992), Miramax Home Entertainment, Dimension Home Video, DIC Toon-Time Video (all starting in 1994), ABC Video and ESPN Home Video (starting in 1997).
• The last releases to contain the original 1991 variant of the green version include the original prints of Con Air (the Laserdisc of which is missing the second screen), Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, Son of Flubber, The Shaggy Dog, Air Bud, and Squeeze. The revised variant of the green version premiered on October 21st, 1997 with Buena Vista's How the Toys Saved Christmas, and the last releases to use it (and this warning in general) include Next Stop Wonderland, Mystery, Alaska, and Disney's Tourist Trap.
• The original 1991 green version surprisingly appears on Walt Disney Home Entertainment's 2003 demo VHS of The Other Side of Heaven.
• The grass green warning doesn’t appear on Canadian VHS issues of Miramax Home Entertainment and Dimension Home Video titles at all, since they were distributed by Alliance Home Video in Canada and instead contained their own warning screen.

2000-20 version:

• The blue version first appeared on WDHV's 2000 VHS release of Geppetto (2000), and was used on all subsequent Buena Vista VHS tapes and DVDs until 2005.
• The expanded variant of the blue version of the second screen first appeared on the 2003 DVD release of Piglet's Big Movie (although some releases, such as the demo VHS and DVD versions of Bringing Down the House, the VHS version of Stitch! The Movie, the 2003 Special Edition DVD reissue of Sleeping Beauty, and the DVD version of Pokemon: Destiny Deoxys, still used the original variant).
• Outside of Buena Vista releases, the blue version appeared on Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment's DVD release of the documentary Spellbound (the VHS counterpart instead uses CTHE's own warning), and the first screen was used by First Look on VHS as well.
• The first screen of the blue version made its final appearances on the VHS releases of Sin City and Herbie: Fully Loaded, respectively released on August 16th and October 25th, 2005, despite the DVD versions using the next warning, and a 2005 screening cassette of The Nameless (Los sin nombre).
• The navy blue warning also doesn't appear on Canadian VHS issues of Miramax Home Entertainment and Dimension Home Video titles at all, since they were distributed by Alliance Atlantis in Canada and instead contained their own warning screen. (DVDs, such as Ella Enchanted, use the original U.S. warnings.)
• Although the first screen of the blue version was retired in 2005, the second screen would continue to be shown on Disney DVDs prior to the 9th or 10th warning screens until 2020. However, both screens appeared on a 2006 DVS VHS release of Chicken Little, but both are broken up by the 2001-08 Walt Disney Home Entertainment logo. A 2007 DVS VHS of Eight Below also has them, but not broken up, and with the next warning following the WDHE logo (meaning the second screen appears twice on the tape).
• These screens also appeared on Scene It? DVD games from Optreve, 2001-2002 Capitol Records VHS tapes & DVDs of Wingspan and Paul McCartney: Back in the U.S., and the 2006 Hart Sharp Video DVD of Conversations with Other Women, fading in and out.
• Strangely, the 2002 DVD of Max Keeble's Big Move used the widescreen variant of both screens, despite the rest of the disc's contents being authored in a fullscreen ratio.
• The grass green warning has also been used by other Non-Disney companies as well.
  • It strangely appears on VHS and DVD releases of Disney-owned movies that Anchor Bay Entertainment licensed from them, such as the 1999 DVD release of Something Wicked This Way Comes.
  • The first non-Disney/Buena Vista release to use the grass green version of the warning was the 1991 Mattel/Gee Whiz Kids Video VHS of Dance! Workout with Barbie. It also appears on videos from Babyscapes, Inc., a VHS of The Best of Shoji: Greatest Performances, and tapes from Corey Lake Pictures.
  • The 1997 variant was also used on VHS releases from AnimeVillage.com Home Entertainment and early Bandai Entertainment VHS releases (in which the first screen would cut to the next), and the 2000 VHS release of Nazca: Blades of Fate from Pioneer Entertainment (first screen only).
  • Sterling Entertainment Group and NCircle Entertainment also used the 1997 version on releases of DIC Entertainment and later Cookie Jar Entertainment material, such as VHS tapes and DVDs of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!.
• The first screen of the blue warning can also be seen on a 2003 Modern Entertainment DVD of The Wraith.

5th Warning (April 12, 2005–February 5, 2013)

Warning: Almost the same as the 2004 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment Anti-Piracy warning screen, except the FBI Anti-Piracy Warning seal is slightly smaller and the warning text appears in Arial Narrow Bold font with a drop shadow behind it.

Variants:

• Widescreen and fullscreen versions exist.
• On VHS tapes, as well as some DVDs from non-Disney companies, the warning fades in and/or out.
• If you select the “Español” option on post-2008 American/Mexican/Argentine/Chilean Disney DVDs from the era, such as Wreck-it Ralph and Planes, the warning will appear in Spanish.
• On Disney Educational Products DVDs of the era, such as The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and various Schoolhouse Rock! subject DVDs, there's no FBI seal and different warning text appears over it. Then it cuts to the normal warning.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None usually.

Music/Sounds Variant: On the 2006 DVS VHS of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, due to a synchronization error, the voiceover descriptions for the Walt Disney Home Entertainment logo and the previous warning are read out over this screen and continue into the start of movie.

Availability: Ultra common.

• It can be found on numerous WDSHE VHS and DVD releases from 2005-13 (beginning with the DVDs of The Adventures of Bullwhip Griffin, The Barefoot Executive, Lt. Robin Crusoe, U.S.N., and The Million Dollar Duck, all released on April 12th, 2005), as well as the final VHS and DVD releases from its subsidiaries (Buena Vista, Touchstone, Miramax, Dimension, and Hollywood).
• Other releases with this warning include the National Treasure, Twitches, and High School Musical movies, Little Einsteins: Our Huge Adventure, The Muppet Movie, Herbie: Fully Loaded, the final eight Platinum Edition releases, Chicken Little (2005), the first two Cars films, Meet the Robinsons, Ratatouille, The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, Wish Gone Amiss, Underdog (2007), The Game Plan, Enchanted, College Road Trip, Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert, The Nightmare Before Christmas: Collector’s Edition, The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Beginning, WALL-E, Bolt, the first five Diamond Edition releases, Up, The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, The Avengers (2012) and Brave.
• It made its final appearance on the 2012 DVD release of Army Wives: Season 6, Part 2. However, Blu-rays from Disney and its subsidiaries had this warning until 2011.

Availability: Despite debuting on overseas Disney DVDs in 1999, this warning screen wasn't used on an U.S. release until 2008 in French and Spanish, and 2011 in English, with its earliest appearances being on 101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure - Special Edition, Schoolhouse Rock!: Earth, and Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2. The English text was since used exclusively on Blu-rays and UHDs, mostly appearing after the end of the movie while DVDs only had the French and Spanish warning screens, often preceding the 10th warning screen or the commentary track bumper. In 2013, this warning still continued to appear in the end of Blu-rays, though the Anti-Piracy variant was retired and replaced by second screen of the 11th warning. Beginning in late 2020, most American Disney DVDs also have this warning screen in English now in the beginning before the 11th warning (excluding Upside Down Magic, which contains the second screen of the 8th warning instead). The later variant first appeared on the 2020 home media issues of Home Alone, Mulan (2020) and The New Mutants, where it's consistent across all types of home media moving forward. 7th Warning (January 8, 2013–present)

October 25, 1994

Warning: We fade in to a blue background. The words, "경고" on the top, and "문화체육부" on the bottom, fade in. Between them, warning text in Korean scrolls up. Everything is in white color. After the text finished scrolling, as the words, "경고" on the top, and "문화체육부" on the bottom, were faded out, the then fade out.

FX/SFX: The fading and scrolling.

Availability: This was found on a Korean VHS release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
