Are Hoda and Jenna leaving the Today show?

Hoda Kotb signed off her radio show for the last time — but many weren’t ready to hear her say goodbye.

On Monday, the NBC broadcast journalist announced that she has officially concluded The Hoda Show on SiriusXM. Apart from cohosting Today’s fourth hour with Jenna Bush Hager, Hoda has also been on the airwaves hosting her own radio show once a week since 2017.

During her last show, she reminisced about her favorite moments. Afterward, she shared her gratitude with the people who made the project possible. Hoda enjoyed microphone-shaped cookies and took a selfie with her now-former executive producers.

“What an amazing 5 years @siriusxm!” she wrote on Instagram. “Loved every minute of the final #hodashshow thank you @hollypalmierischulz @manonbraz Not goodbye tho-- see you around @siriusxm for those special hours xoxo.” Hoda added on Twitter: “I will miss this bunch ❤️❤️❤️.”

After seeing Hoda’s tribute to her radio show on social media, lots of fans flooded the comments section with a mix of emotions. “No way!! 😢😢 I will miss you Hoda!!” one fan wrote on Instagram. “Wow. This is shocking!” another added. “The #hodashow is done? Oh noooooo,” a different fan said on Twitter.

Others congratulated Hoda on her accomplishment and shared how much they enjoyed her show. “Cheers to five awesome years!” a follower commented on Instagram. “Best show ever #hodashow never missed an episode 💜 Love you @hodakotb you made my Mondays a great start to my week,” someone else tweeted. “Awe, bummer to hear. Excited to see what’s next though! ❤️,” a person wrote.

Hoda Kotb Reflects On The End Of Her SiriusXM Radio Show

Speaking with Jenna on Today, Hoda opened up about why she decided to end her radio show. Though she said that she loved it “deeply,” the mother of two also understood that she needed to be considerate about where her “time, attention and love” was going.

“Sometimes you have to know inside it’s time to move on and sometimes you have to realize that you’re at a point in your life where it was beautiful and learned so much,” Hoda said on the morning show.

While Hoda won’t be on the radio anymore, viewers can still catch her weekday mornings talking about everything and anything with the Today cast. What’s more, there might be a chance that she’ll create new episodes of her podcast Making Space.
