Country music mourns the loss of one of its greats. Loretta Lynn, a pioneer of the industry, died at the age of 90. Her family confirmed the news with a message to her fans: "Our precious mom, Loretta Lynn, passed away peacefully this morning, October 4th, in her sleep at home at her beloved ranch in Hurricane Mills." The singer shared an emotional tribute to her sister with her fans on social media. Crystal shared a series of family photos and wrote, "The world lost a legend. We lost a sister. A Family Full Of Talent & LoveThere’s a reason why Loretta Lynn came to love music as much as she does. Growing up, her entire family was a musical bunch, and they carried that talent and love for music into adulthood. During an appearance on Pop Goes the Country, Loretta was joined on stage by her mom, Clara, who used to be a singer herself, as well as a dancer.
