Is Ao

At first blush, Ao-chan Can't Study! looks like a raunchy, short-form romcom anime about sex, relationships and the various mishaps of the titular Ao-chan's dating life — and in many hilarious ways, that's exactly what the anime is.

Is Ao

This is a fun little series; as one might guess it is definitely 'ecchi' at times but it doesn't feel sleazy like many such series do. Ao and Kijima are good central characters and her father is very funny. There are plenty of laughs to be had and the story leads to a satisfying conclusion.

What kind of anime is Ao

Ecchi comedies are perhaps one of the funniest brands of humor anime could ever give us; who doesn't love making fun of something as awkward as being sexy? Ao-chan Can't Study! is one of those series that touches on sexual topics while also making fun of them at the same time.

What does Ao

In grade school, she gave a speech on Parents' Day in front of her classmates and said that her name comes from the word “aokan” (the Japanese word for “outdoor sex”). You see, Ao's father was a renowned erotic author and she had no idea the erotic information he shared with her was at all inappropriate.
