Horrible company don’t recommend

Customer Returns (Former Employee) - New Century, KS - August 4, 2022

I worked there for 4 months and they treated me and my fiancé like numbers they don’t care about there employees. Overall Amazon is a horrible company I do not recommend working there.

Cons

Short breaks, horrible work environment, horrible managers and hr, long work hours, fire you before you get you’re bonus

They do not care about employees

Do not work at Amazon! The mid management team do not care about people just numbers. Amazon is simply an American sweat shop. Working conditions are bad. You must stand for 10 hours per shift. Your breaks are cut short because you have to walk too far for breaks. You get two 15 minute breaks but 6 of those are spent walking to and from break. They also do not clean the work area. They let sick people still come work alone side other employee. They do not have a respectful workplace. Bad language is so common' adult content convensations are normal activity there. Amazon is like a huge dating plant. Bad things are going on in the parking lot.

Its alright to work

It’s a fast pace work place feet will be hurting after a week. Pay is alright and management don’t really care for you honestly your just another number in the system for them.

Flexibility/benefits

It's a good place to work if you need a part time job only working anywhere from 3 to 5 hours during your shift. The benefits and pay are decent. Management is tolerable for the most part.

Good pay

I work for Amazon in Aberdeen Maryland. The warehouse is nice and clean and the work is easy. The pay is pretty good compared to most other places in the area.

Don’t.

Don’t waste your time. You will more than likely cry. Everything you hear about this company is true. They treat their employees like absolute garbage. Run as fast as you can.

Last resort. Dystopic and repetitive

It's very very tiring after standing on your feet in the same position for 10 hours at a time basically. breaks are too short and pay is okay only relative to other jobs in the area.

Pros

People are quiet and some are helpful.

Cons

short breaks and it feels as if you're always being watched.

Good: pay. Bad: favoritism

Pay was average, people friendly. Rewards and Bonus were appriciated, had giveaways, furnished food at times, move up in company quick.

Bad Management

Everything else is okay just horrible Management at the Lexington KY Location. Great pay the warehouse is very dusty but that happens. They are really big on safety. Managers are always on their phones.

Horrible work environment !

I can see why my location keeps losing employees and are having to constantly hire on new people. Been here over 2 months, it’s like a sweat shop with multiple angry bosses telling you to go faster. If you want that experience work at the LAS2 fulfillment center.

Amazon is a a joke

Seems like all Amazon warehouses has their favorites all managment pick out their favorites to do the light work, if you don't do what they ask the "punish" you and send you to lift the 90lbs+ boxes, amazon is a goos company just very pour management and lack of honoring those who really work vs those who stand around and talk all day

Na

Great working for the company. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Good working environment. Nice and clean. Everything you need it there for you. Quick hiring process too

Ok

Good money but management sucks and they don’t care about there employees but just about hitting numbers. Benefits are good and worth it but pay could be better for all the things and long hours we have to do

Good be better

During this pandemic I feel that things haven't been handled as well as they should've been. There has been 6 reported cases of Covid on site and they've remained opened through it all.

Long hard hours- but I had 3 days a week off so was nice

Technically I worked for Integrity Staffing- I did not get paid well- & no benefits. I understand, now if someone is hired directly by Amazon the pay & benefits are quite good.

Pros

4 day work week - some shifts- also very physical-kept me in shape

Cons

Long tedious hours- Low class aggressive people

Amazon

Customer Return was different at amazon learning different stuff in different locations in the building sorting and removing items from packages in which the customers returns. Under loading trucks and checking computer of customers comments of why the Items are being returned.

Horrible stay away from Integrity!

At integrity you’re basically a slave and doormat you are given no benefits no time off without getting in trouble no schedule or position changing nothing. On top of this after your first few weeks everyone starts being rude they refused me a mask and didn’t care when i was throwing up blood, a guy literally said if you have a pulse you work for us. Pay isn’t as good as it looks either.

Pros

I guess pay is the best and only good thing

Cons

Everything else for a place caring about safety nobody really cares about you

Long hours

The pay was great, but the hours were brutal. 10 hour shifts with only one 30 minute lunch and two 10 minute breaks. You have to keep up a certain pace of work and if you fall behind and don’t meet that pace you get a warning, which can lead to a write-up if it’s consistent. Not a hard job but definitely stressful and demanding.
