BIBB COUNTY, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fiery traffic accident that left a mother and her two children dead. BCSO said at 2 p.m. on Sunday that a black Chevrolet SUV was going southbound on I-475 just past the Thomaston Road bridge when it went off the roadway and hit a tree. the tree, the SUV caught on fire. Deputies said there were three people in the SUV and all three were pronounced dead by Deputy Coroner Luanne Stone. WGXA-TV in Macon reported that bodies were burned so badly, they were not identifiable. Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones told WGXA Monday morning that
he was able to identify the victims as 41-year-old Karen Gregory, 19-year-old Kyron Gregory and 10-year-old Yahvi Gregory. Jacksonville from Locust Grove after looking at a home they were interested in moving in to, WGXA reported. No one else was injured during the collision.
