2022 Topps Series 2 Short prints

You've been waiting for months, and now 2022 Topps Series 2 baseball cards are finally here! If you ripped packs of the flagship release today and you're not quite sure if you've landed a short print (SP) or super short print (SSP), we have a guide to identifying those coveted inserts.

HOW TO SPOT 2022 TOPPS SERIES 2 VARIATIONS

2022 Topps Series 2 Short prints

Topps JUST released 2022 Series 2 cards this morning, and kept their tradition of including short prints and super short prints in the packs. We know you're eyeing down SP rookies like Spencer Torkelson and Julio Rodriguez, as well as SSP hits of legendary players like Babe Ruth. How can you tell if you pulled a variation card, though? The easiest way is to check the back of the card.

Turn your card over so the stats are facing you. Look very bottom of the card in the center. Here you will find in bold CODE# and a series of numbers. The last THREE digits in this code will indicate whether you have a base card, short print, or super short print. Take a close look as these codes are in tiny print!

  • Base cards will end in #847
  • Short Prints will end in #865
  • Super Short Prints will end in #866
