Players looking to cement their Halo Infinite fan pride with the official Microsoft Xbox Series X-themed console may be out of luck in 2022. The console was originally manufactured to celebrate the release of Halo Infinite. Now, weeks from the game’s launch, players appear to have grabbed every console they could find.

There is no way to reliably secure an Xbox Series X Halo Infinite limited edition console from Best Buy in 2022 at the time of writing. This is because the console was a limited release and, as such, only had a short stock available. As the console is sold out on both Best Buy and the official Microsoft store’s storefronts, it is not possible to secure more stock.

Unfortunately, there is no way to know when Best Buy is planning on restocking the Xbox Series X Halo Infinite console variant as it was a limited edition release at the time. The only potential way for Best Buy to obtain more of this console variant is for the manufacturer, Microsoft, to order more product and then ship it to the retailer.
Normally, with base console designs, orders could theoretically be placed and filled with the company at any time as items become available. This isn’t possible with limited releases as only a set number are made and doled out.
As it is currently listed as “sold out” from Microsoft’s website, it is not far-fetched to believe no more of this variant exists. Therefore, Best Buy may not be receiving anymore Xbox Series X Halo Infinite consoles.
The Xbox Series X Halo Infinite limited edition console is listed as $549.99 from Best Buy. Fans have the option of a payment plan with a monthly fee of $45.84 over a 12-month period. However, it is currently listed as out of stock without the caveat of “working to get more inventory.”
