- Sat Dec 19, 2020 7:46 am #40207 Thought I'd share how easy and quick installing the small
Sig RMR was. Removing the tight plate was the toughest part. I had to resort to using a punch, up from the bottom of the slide, through the rearward screw holes. Used a hammer to tap the plate loose. Then had to press fit the plastic plate that comes in the pistol box. Pealed and placed the adhesive cover over the bottom of the sight to hold the battery in. Finally used the M4 screws provided with the sight. They are #10 torx size so I used a screwdriver instead of the provided wrench.
The screws come with "lock-tite" on the threads. The Sig Romeo Zero is small, very light weight and will co-witness with the iron sights. Has the "shake awake" on/off technology to save battery life. The battery lasts well over a year. This is my second Romeo RMR, I have one on a Hellcat too. Love the easy on the eyes aiming. Highly recommended.

#40210 I agree with everything you said except my battery didn't last six months. Except for being in the safe, it's probably been out maybe 100 hours? The good thing is, unlike the
Venom on the SFX, when it is dead the iron sights are still there.

The good thing is, unlike the Venom on the SFX, when it is dead the iron sights are still there. I had the same
experience with the Sig Romeo. Mounted one on my Sig P365 xl and the battery was dead in no time. Disappointing. "Leave the gun, take the cannoli" - Clemenzancjw wrote:

45 ACP, Because short fat and slow will get the job done.
Shoot, shovel, shut up.

Answer:
Yes. I've put it on 3 different Elite SC's. I prefer it without using the mounting plate that comes with the gun. It will sit a little lower, easier to co-witness & more streamline. I had an issue with one of them, called Sig customer service & they sent a replacement out the same day. No cost & no issues since.

Answer:
It would require a mounting bracket that would fit in the rear sight dovetail. Lakeline sells a bracket and possibly other vendors also.

Answer:
I doubt it because as far as I know, there is no cut out on top of the slide to fit it. It requires the slide to be cut out, drilled and tapped for the screws. I don’t believe the 938 is.

Answer:
Yes but I had to pick up a couple of M4.07 x 10mm screws from a hardware store to mount it.

Answer:
Yes, it did. I installed it and then changed my mind as it was a little difficult to zero to the height of the base of the shield.

Answer:
With the correct mounting plate. Or you might check with Keltec to see if it is cut for that particular sight.
