Another night of the Jersey Shore means another night of shenanigans.
Tonight's episode started out with Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino letting us know that he wants a girl like his sister or his mother (his words), and apparently, that is not Paula. Ouch.
Sitch says, "I definitely wanna break up with Paula in a smooth and easy way because I'd like to still hit it. 'Listen girl, it's not me. It's you. Can I still hit it?'"
That wasn't the only relationship going downhill in Mike's life. His friendship with Snooki was still rocky, and although he continued to mention that he wanted to apologize to her and get things back to where they were, Snooks made it clear (again) she didn't feel the same way. How, you ask?
Well, she told Sammi, Ronnie and JWoww that Mike won't be invited to the wedding, and even if he said sorry, she would never want him in her life again.
Meanwhile, Jenni planned a pre-baby shower for Snooks, who felt like she had no one except for JWoww to turn to in the house when it came to her pregnancy. Everyone seemed pretty pumped for it, except for Vinny because of his awkwardness with Jionni. Hopefully, the celebration of new life will inspire Vin to squash whatever's going on there. Key word: Maybe.
Back to the Mike and Paula debacle. Sitch kept running his mouth about his plan to breakup with his girl, and surprise, it got back to her. She called her beau up and told him that she overheard her coworkers mentioning how he wanted to split, but, of course, he denied it.
Regardless, Paula started crying on the phone, which made Mike feel bad. He called her "sweetie" and "babe," trying to make things a little smoother, but we all knew what was going to happen. The roommates knew Sitch was going to end it, and at Paula's work, so they all joined him for some tanning before he dropped the bomb. And then it happened...
Can someone give Mike an award or something? His "breakup" ended with kisses on the lips and a hug. How did that just happen?!
Good thing he didn't use the "Let's Make It Unofficial" shirt Vinny made him. That might have changed things.
Leaving her days at Karma behind! Paula Pickard became a fan-favorite after her fling with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino on MTV’s Jersey Shore. Since then, the brunette beauty has found new love with her fiancé, Chris, and they share a darling daughter, Evalyse Joanna.
When news broke about Jersey Shore: Family Vacation being renewed for season 4 on June 25, some viewers couldn’t help but reminisce about some of the former characters. Of course, Paula came to mind.
She now works as a bartender, according to her Instagram bio, and her hobbies include shopping at Michael’s as well as watching South Park and Harry Potter.
Paula recently shared a photo from her breathtaking outdoor engagement shoot and responded to a fan’s sentimental comment about her time on the show.
“I have always loved you from watching you on [Jersey Shore],” one social media user wrote, pointing out how happy they are to see her glow up. “You are always such a beautiful, sweet and kind-hearted girl.”
In her response, the mother of one revealed she is thrilled with the way everything panned out.
“It’s been almost 10 years and the relevancy of that show is non-existent [for me] these days. I appreciate the love, living my best life with more blessings than I can count,” Paula wrote on June 16.
These days, Mike also moved on with his beautiful wife, Lauren Sorrentino (née Pesce), who was definitely his rock during the star’s 8-month prison sentence for tax evasion. He celebrated being four years clean and sober in December 2019 and thanked his leading lady for sticking by his side through the hard times.
After being released from prison, the TV personality was overjoyed to be able to spend Christmas with his loved ones for the first time since he was behind bars.
“[Lauren and I] are so grateful this year to be able to have our holiday since I just got home,” Mike, 37, told In Touch exclusively over the holidays.
“We’re hosting Christmas Eve this year for my family and her family,” he added. “We’re doing Christmas Eve with the seven fishes, which is an Italian tradition. And I get so excited for that every year because … it’s really like living your best life. So we’re just all happy that we’re all together.”
Paula and Mike’s chapter is over, but there’s one thing they still have in common — how much they adore their families!
