I Am A Strong Woman Because A Strong Woman Raised Me – FREE Printable for Mother’s Day!
A Mother’s Day Printable to celebrate all the strong mothers who raise strong daughters!
As May is approaching, one of the most celebrated holidays will soon be here, Mother’s Day.
It has always been one of my favorite holidays, even before I became a mother myself.
Celebrating Mother’s day, lets me focus on genuinely showing my mom the love and gratitude she deserves.
Since I was a child, I always enjoyed making my mom a special handmade craft to show her how much she means to me.
This year, as one of my mom’s gifts I decided to make a Mother’s day printable that can be framed and displayed.
I made two different printables one for her and one for me to display in my home office to remind me that I am strong because a strong woman raised me.
You see, my mom was a single mom raising me in the ’80s & ’90s when most kids I knew had two parents.
She did the job of two and was amazing at it.
Not only did she work her tail off at her job, but she was always there for me anytime I needed her.
I was always so proud that she was able to be there for me at every single school event.
She was there wiping my tears when my feelings had been hurt and giving me valuable advice that has helped shape me into who I am today.
I remember all the times she was there, but at the time I didn’t realize how hard things were for her being a single mom.
She endured financial hardships and total exhaustion, but as a child, I never knew.
Not only did she take care of me but she was the caregiver to my grandmother and many other family members when they needed someone.
No matter how many times I am sure she wanted to give up, she kept on persevering.
My mother is strong and she raised me to be strong too.
She raised me to always be myself and follow my dreams.
Because of my mother, I was taught to think for myself and to have gratitude.
She raised me to know what I stand for and not be afraid to stand up for others and what I believe in.
My strong mother raised me to be independent, self-sufficient, and to know my worth.
I Am Strong Because A Strong Woman Raised Me
She taught me to survive all of life’s ups and downs.
My mother has endured more than her fair share of grief and heartache, but she knows that life goes on and that you must keep moving forward.
When you are raised by a woman like my mother you will have a best friend for life.
You will have a woman who is always cheering you on as you shoot for the stars no matter how near or far.
I am a strong woman because a strong woman raised me.
She is my best friend, my go-to person, my biggest fan.
I can never describe all the lessons she taught me, but I know I am who I am because of her and I am so proud of that.
So this Mother’s day let’s celebrate all the strong women who raise strong women.
Mother’s Day Printables
I made two different Mother’s Day printables.
Both prints say the same thing but have different colors and fonts.
The first Mother’s Day print is sage green and light pink.
The second print has dark blue florals mixed with dusty rose pink.
Both say, “I am a strong woman because a strong woman raised me.”
These printables are 8×10 letter size.
Each print will fit any 8 x 10 frame or 11 x 14 matted frame.
