Lucy is a waitress at Lucky Brew’s Bar and Grill in Clairton, Pennsylvania. She appears in What We Do in the Shadows (TV series).
Biography[]
When Laszlo had to go into hiding to escape the fellow vampire Jim, he fled to Clairton and adopted a new human alias, ‘Jackie Daytona’. He killed the owner of Lucky Brew’s, took over his position and became immediately popular with Lucy and the town’s people.
Soon afterwards, the town’s volleyball team, the Bucks, announced that they couldn’t afford to take part in the state tournament. After hearing Lucy’s singing voice, Laszlo decided to hold a talent contest at the bar to raise money for the team. The show successfully raised enough money, but while Lucy was performing, Jim arrived and finally realized ‘Jackie’ was Laszlo. The two vampires fought and Laszlo tried to fight back with fire-breathing, causing Lucy to faint and the money to catch fire.
Upset at the loss of the money, the vampires settled their differences. Laszlo bid farewell to Lucy and later got the money back by burning down Lucky Brew’s and cashing in on the insurance. He then hypnotized the whole town into forgetting vampires existed.[1]

Jackie Daytona
Laszlo meets an adversary who has power over him and does the logical thing. He runs away. He ends up in bar, mixing drinks. He also fall for a high school volleyball team, whom he want to succeed. He even has a romantic interest. But the guy who is after him shows up (Mark Hamill) and now his mettle is tested. Back at the ranch things are falling apart (sort of). There are some very funny moments here, especially a drinking contest between two vampires, neither of whom can ingest any human food or drink. Also, the dialogue is quite hilarious as they parry and thrust, not, especially by Laszlo trying to pretend he is not a vampire.
