Shopping in The Loop in Terminal 1

A few shops are located landside at Terminal 1. A Spar retail food outlet is found in both the Departures and Arrivals areas. The latter also hosts an Eason Book Store. A Wrights Food branch is located in the Car Park Atrium.

Offerings are much more extensive after the security checkpoint. The main concentration of shops is in The Loop central concourse, with a few shops located around separate departure gates.

What time does Dublin Airport open?

Security in T1 is now open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Security in T2 opens at 04.00, so people flying from T2 should factor this in. We advise that you allow 2 hours before a short-haul flight, and 3 hours before a long-haul flight.

Is Dublin Airport open at night?

Dublin Airport remains open 24 hours a day, 364 days a year, we are closed on Christmas day.

Can I sleep on Dublin Airport?

Airside: Dublin Airport offers a designated rest zone equipped with soft chairs and sleep pods, perfect for tired travellers to relax and enjoy some stress-free time. Find the rest zone in Terminal 1 by passing through Security, the immediate Duty Free area, and a restaurant on your left.

What time does Ryanair check

We recommend that you check-in baggage as early as possible, the Bag Drop desks open two hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time. The Bag Drop desks close strictly 40 minutes before the scheduled time of departure.
