On certain texts I recieve from folks I receive a msg that states "bookmarked for unread msgs". I have never received a msg like that before. What does it mean

Does anyone know if this is specified to Samsung only or is it all Android phones? I have a Note8 and am looking to upgrade my phone, but this feature is really annoying and making me wonder if I should just jump ship.

Ive noticed that when you message someone and they havent read your message it stays as unread but when they open it it goes away.

Go to your settings. Look up Bookmark Provider. Disable it.

That solution to disable does not work..
