Is the Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm a good gun?
The S&W M&P9 is one of the best 9mm pistols available today, all things considered. It's a polymer-framed, striker-fired full-size pistol much like the Glock 17. However, it has some features and refinements that similar guns sometimes lack.
What is the newest Smith and Wesson M&P?
The M&P M2. 0 pistol, the newest innovation to the respected M&P polymer pistol line. Designed for personal, sporting, and professional use, the M&P M2. 0 delivers an entirely new platform, introducing innovative features in nearly every aspect of the pistol, including trigger, grip, frame, and finish.
What is the difference between the Smith & Wesson M&P models?
Shooting SW M&P 2.0 Compact vs Shield
It's much easier to shoot the larger Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 compact. The gun has a better texture than the original shield, and it's just larger, has softer recoil, the slide really dampens a lot of the recoil, the longer barrel everything about it is just easier to shoot.
What is better Glock or M&P?
So when you're comparing the slide locks side by side, the Smith and Wesson M&P looks to be slightly better designed than the Glock, and it looks a little bit better. But in my opinion, it's a little bit harder to manipulate than the one on the Glock. They're very close though, the Glock beats it by about 10%.
