Aloha! First sit in and…
Aloha! First sit in and first tandem aka Ohana kayak. Over a decade spent on a Wilderness series sit on top with rudder system and kite set up. in open water,river ways, and springs. Very pleasantly surprised how well it tracked solo. Handles well in calm waters Handles well in open water as well just be forewarned you may take on water if a swell hits you broadside so a hand pump is advised to have at the ready. Low profile takes broadside wind well. Great keel design. Stable. Cockpit seats very comfortable. Aft dry compartment Waterproof. Fore area holds a dry bag. Spacious leg room for both. Added a tandem set (4) of NRS float bags fore and aft and a thin fun noodle along the inside skirt lip for added float ability. Recommend a min of 240cm oars. Not overly heavy and able to transfer her from my roof rack to the water solo. Due to its length I do recommend tie downs fore and aft for stability at highway speeds. Only issue so far is I am unable to find a skirt to fit her as it requires a tandem skirt set. ʻike ʻoe i ka wai
If you’re going out on the…
If you’re going out on the water with a friend or partner, the Argo 136xp is the way to do it! I visited my cousin down in the bay area and we took this out to a lake up in the mountains (near Palo Alto). It was such an incredible ride. The Kayak is light and made it easy to take it off the car and into the water. We paddled for a while then decided to take a break and have some snacks. The kayak’s paddle tie downs made it easy to just sit back and let the water rock us. All and all this was a super comfortable ride with nice seats and easy transportation. I would recommend for anyone bringing a friend out on an adventure. Can’t wait to go back and paddle some more!

This kayak comes equipped with two large easily accessible cockpits both featuring adjustable footrests and the ERGOFIT G2 seating system™.
The ARGO 136XP TANDEM is made with our patented RAM-X™ PREMIUM material, an exceptionally durable high molecular weight polyethylene that contains a top layer of advanced resin, which provides more rigidity while still being conveniently lightweight. This kayak comes equipped with two large easily accessible cockpits both featuring adjustable footrests, the ERGOFIT G2 seating system™ providing you with a comfortable and cushioned position. The addition of a keel extension will help you straight as you settle into a good paddling rhythm. Each passenger has their own cockpit table with handy compartments and bottle holder. The front passenger has access to a storage platform with bungee cords while the rear passenger has easy access to a 4" day hatch, and a large quick lock hatch with a 60L storage bag located on the rear of the kayak will allow you to pack plenty of extra gear. Two paddle tie-downs will free-up your hands when needed!
