Audio Description is an optional narration that describes what is happening on screen, including physical actions, facial expressions, costumes, settings, and scene changes.
It is available for most Netflix original titles and many other TV shows and movies. We are always working with studios to make them available for more titles.

Some TV shows may not have Audio Descriptions available for all Seasons or Episodes.
Turning Audio Description on or off:
Open Netflix.
Select a TV show or movie.
Begin playing and take the action listed for your device:
Action
Mobile phones or tablets, computers
Tap or click the screen
Smart TV, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, gaming systems, streaming media players
Press the up or down arrow on the remote
Apple TV 2 or Apple TV 3
Hold down the center button on the Apple TV remote
Apple TV 4 and Apple TV 4K
Swipe down on the Apple TV remote
4. At either the top or bottom of the screen, select Audio & Subtitles
5. Make changes to the audio or subtitle selections.
Note:
Subtitle and audio preferences aren't saved when viewing most Kids titles from an adult profile. They are saved when viewing from a Kids profile. If you have to reset your audio every time you try to watch, play a title with a maturity rating of Teens or above for 2-3 mins to set your preferred audio language. This will save your settings for future viewing.
Choose an audio track that has Audio Description in the title to turn it on, or one that doesn't to turn it off.

How to turn off Audio Description on Netflix?
Open the Netflix app or webpage and select Netflix Settings from the home screen.
From there, go to the General Settings section and select "Accessibility."
Now, you need to choose "Audio descriptions" in Accessibility settings.
There you will see a toggle; all you have to do is turn the toggle switch OFF to disable Audio Descriptions in Netflix.
Then, go back to Netflix home page/ app and start playing any TV show or movie.
While the TV show is still playing, click anywhere on the app screen.
Select the dialog button found in the upper right corner of the screen.
Now, go to the "Audio" option and ensure it does not contain Audio Description.
Once you have ensured that you have turned OFF Audio Descriptions well, tap " Done".
Play the movie or the TV show for the next five minutes to save the new settings.
