The Legend of the Northern Blade gained tremendous popularity lately. All fans are awaiting the new chapters eagerly but unfortunately, the author is taking his sweet time providing us with the rest of the story.

By the name itself, I guess you already got the idea, it is an arrow that you can control from a distance, an arrow that is sure to hit!
Like in the Legend of the Northern Blade, the story is set in the Murim world. It is not a story of vengeance but a story of hard work and determination to get stronger, just like the hardship Jin Mu-Won had to overcome at the beginning of the Manhwa.

Those two couldnt be more opposite and they would rather kill each other than the enemy. But as the proverb says, opposites attract and they finally turn into the most deadly partners and ultimate weapons of destruction against the Mongols.
Like Jin Mu-Won, they started off as loners who prefer to do the work themselves and without leaning on anyone. As the story develops, they will realize that alone they cannot accomplish anything and start to accept the help of others.

They discovered that he had extreme resistance to poison, so they took him in as a subject for experiments. They tortured him for almost a year, tried every kind of painful and deadly poison on him. They never let him rest and always made sure he would be conscious through every second of it.
Over time, his body changed and he acquired the ability to store and concoct poison in his own body. Using this new skill he managed to escape. Wandering the world all alone, the only thing he wishes to do is avenge his family and friends by massacring all members of the Poison Sect and make sure they die the most painful and slow death he can give them.
Out of all Manhawas, this one can be considered a parallel version of The Legend of the Northern Blade.

When we say something similar, its not just the content of the story that matters. The mindset and personality of the MCs are as important. Although some of those Manhwas arent about revenge, all protagonists have a thirst for power and an unwavering determination to achieve their goals just like Jin Mu-Won.
