How to transfer money from Regions to another Bank

You can make an internal transfer — moving funds between eligible Regions accounts — quickly and conveniently via our app, your mobile browser or Text Banking. Your mobile carrier’s messaging and data fees may apply when you use Mobile Banking.

When you submit a same-day internal transfer, it is immediately authorized and reflected in your checking, savings and money market account balances, as well as transfers to your credit card. Transfers to other types of loan accounts are debited from your account immediately based on cutoff time but take one additional business day to be reflected in your loan balance.

For external transfers, you can choose next-day delivery (one business day) or standard delivery (three to five business days). You can check your external transfer status at any time in Online Banking, and you will receive an email when it is complete.

You can use Zelle® to send funds directly to a friend or family member's account at Regions using only the email address or the U.S. mobile phone number of the person to whom you want to transfer funds.

Transfers can be scheduled (planned in advance for a future date) and/or recurring (happening on a regular basis, such as every week or every month).
