Then please go through the cabin and assist. Otherwise it was fine because no one has anything approaching expectations these days."

Cons: "This plane was older, smaller and less comfortable than the one we flew from JFK to SFO. For 5 plus hours it wasn’t the most inviting. At landing several people appeared desperate to deplane, perhaps to make connections but no one assisted them. There were also passengers from the rear of the plane up and in the aisle immediately which just causes tension and friction for those still seated. That’s when I want to and did say something to certain individuals and made them wait. But this is the flight crew’s responsibility, not the passenger’s."

Pros: "I love that you can charge your phone in-flight! It was a red eye, so I wasn’t trying to watch movies or anything, but battery life is always a concern when you want to use your phone. There’s no free WiFi but you can text, which is cool."

Cons: "Generally, we all know coach is just uncomfortable. This was made worse by the fact that the flight attendants NEVER STOPPED WORKING THE AISLES. On a red eye, things usually get quiet after an initial drink service. And they even said it was going to, but that was a lie. I was in an aisle seat and got knocked by drink carts rolling past on at least 3 occasions, and they would talk without even trying to stay quiet. ALL NIGHT LONG. I definitely didn’t sleep, which is usually pretty easy for me. I fly a lot of red eyes and have gotten used to getting to sleep on the plane, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had."

I should have looked more carefully at the seat assignments and they should have been more up front!"

The service is not what it used to be. They removed live TV and the movie selection is at least a year old. Sad sad state of affairs. Virgin was my favorite airline."

Cons: "Our flight was supposed to leave at 10pm. We all boarded only to be told that some ground crew vehicle ran into the cargo door and scratched it so badly it had to be reported. The report must be filled out and sent to Seattle for review. We were told by the air crew this would take a few more minutes. It took over almost an hour and a half. Screaming babies and a FULL plane. We finally changed planes to the other end of the Terminal. I got no sleep and missed a very special Labor Day Holiday with my daughter because I am sleeping now. I dont understand how your own ground crew can damage your plane and it take so long for you to decide to change planes AFTER BOARDING A FULL PLANE!?!?"

Cons: "There were no headphones available on the flight, the seatbelt signs were half working, half not, and when I tried to use my own headphones- the jack in my seat was not operable. On the Alaska flight on the way out, the seat was broken and I couldn’t recline for the whole 7 hour flight. It just seems as though there is a repair issue with Alaska/virgin airplanes."

Cons: "When I came into la my seat was changed without my notice and I was placed in the emergency exit. The staff at the gate told me I was upgraded which was a total lie. I was uncomfortable the whole ride when that should not have happened being that I picked my seat over 3 months ago."

Went I check my luggage in HNL they tell me will go all the way to JFK airport , went I was in San Francisco they call me to pick up luggage because they don’t sent to New York. Went we arrive to San Francisco airport they delay fly for 3 hrs I have a hotel in NY to sleep for 5 hrs before I pick up rental car and start to drive to my next trip . I lost my hotel reservation, again only one time they offer drinks and food was not good in airplane ."

No compensation even offered or provided for extra expenses they caused by us leaving so late. Thank you Sun Country for starting my vacation off so well."

Sun country delayed their flight (claiming weather, despite no reports) and I missed my connecting flight. Prior to the flight, I told the agent that I would miss my connection and that I should fly later. But they insisted they would hold the connecting plane. I and a dozen passengers were rudely told that we were on the morning flight, and it's up to us what to do over night. Any major airlines would have covered the hotel, and the agents would have actually empathized with passengers. Sun Country is not a quality airlines."

Airlines charge to pick a sit, when you buy a ticket to fly, they upcharge for luggage, they charge to sit with your husband and child, they know how to charge, they know how to delay a flight, they know how to put you through body search, but they can't say hi or good bye, don't worry, the other airlines don't either. What you people need is competition."

Cons: "Surprised by a snarky employee at gate check for my connecting flight home today. I fly with AA nearly every week for work. They grabbed my bag from me and insisted it be checked. I said I didn’t want to pay for checking and that it contained fragile items. It was a little over-stuffed for the scale. When I went to open it and remove some bulky items to put in my purse, they snatched my suitcase away and refused to let me touch my bag. I find this to be completely unacceptable. They had the gall to suggest I go to an airport store, buy a “suitable suitcase,” and take a later flight home. They made a scene and called a supervisor who kindly and promptly let me in my suitcase. The employee then spoke negatively about me loudly to nearby colleagues and refused to make eye contact. After the supervisor let me in my bag, I got on the plane with my suitcase. At one point, this employee made me feel like I was going to be kicked off of my flight; this was so unnecessary and extremely unprofessional. AA - your employees are better than this."

Also, LGA is such a mess these days due to construction and would have been nice to get an email notification beforehand about it. We barely made our outgoing flight!"

Cons: "The flight attendant was unfriendly at boarding. He did not say or play any pre-flight safety announcements. We were told the flight might have to refuel in Richmond due to major weather delays in LGA. When we were landing they said they expected a refuel and a quick turnaround in Richmond. On the plane after landing, I learned via my phone's internet the flight was cancelled. They never announced it on the plane. At the final moment before we disembarked, the crew told us to be sure to take our belongings. When we landed, Flightaware showed delays of 45 minutes at LGA. AA never took responsibility for the problem though the gate crew mentioned they canceled the flight because the crew was going to be over their maximum hours. AA really couldn't plan to allow for up to an hour delay? I feel disrespected and even deceived. Although it was clear that flight attendant really needed to get off that plane. At the gate, we were told there were no available flights to NYC and were stranded overnight in Richmond. AA did offer a hotel pretending it was a courtesy since they claimed the problem was weather related and not theirs. We chose to stay with relatives and were told AA could only provide transportation from the airport which we did not need. We often have problems and cancellations on this route from when it was branded a US Air route to the present, but this was egregious."

Cons: "The seats are pretty uncomfortable. They are so close together and there is no room to store anything. The tray tables are a joke, you can't even fit an iPad on them. The bag check process was trouble at both legs. They have lower weight limits than the major carriers and that really should be highlighted better when you book with Allegiant. Also, bag checkin for the flight I was on started at 7:45am. There were only 2 people at the checkin counter and one of them was busy doing something and ignoring the customers. So that was a little annoying."

Cons: "I bought a flight that I had to end up cancelling - when I called to cancel - within the 24 hour period, they would not let me cancel despite text on my confirmation saying that there would be a free cancellation within the 24 hours. Extremely annoyed that there was a blatant miscommunication. I did not end up going on the flight but was unable to get a refund which seems ridiculous given that there was text on the website explicitly saying this was their policy."
