I’m also non-US IMG. It took me around 6-7 weeks, I took a break from work to study, approx 8 to 10 hours a day (Monday-Monday, have to admit it was intensive but not too crazy to handle) I just used UW and Anki. I felt I covered everything in that period. Anki Review played a a pivotal role in this test; my UWSA were 228 & 235, nbme 7 (228) and the real thing was 247. My biggest weakness was time management and concentration. The exam ran smoothly, UWSAs are harder and longer on purpose.

you just need to
know some pathology, pharmacology and to the least anatomy stuff.
you will learn those things while you read Kaplan and mainly during ur USMLE world work out.... or if not ur satisfied still.....I can give u another solution read mechanism of action and side effects of important drugs in those books u have learned during ur preclinical curriculum daily for an hour as far as u can, that will do and help a lot.

HOW ?!!!!!!!!!! Just an important question that keeps haunting me.
HOW IN THE WORLD can anybody finish the CK in 4 months or less & get 99 ??????.
I'm working on CK myself now & I'm telling you guys,it's no picnic, there are a lot of stuff to memorize,a lot of lap values & other stuff that just takes a long time just to
read,not memorize,just read plus the videos,C'mon 4 months, really?
Besides,I have offline UW questions ,so after I'm done with a system in IM for example the Cardiovascular,I study the offline question of the Cardio which are over 130 questions,I realized that the questions are totally different from the stuff mentioned in kaplan & first-aid,a lot of stuff are not even mentioned in the notes & asked about in UW.
So,please somebody answer me this,WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? CAUSE TO
ME IT LOOKS LIKE THE INTERNAL MEDICINE ALONE IS GONNA TAKE 4 MONTHS:toosad:

I think it's important to register in ECFMG early because it takes time for IMGs to get registered.
