How to take screenshot or screen capture in a G Stylo

An essential functionality today in a mobile phone or tablet is the possibility of taking screenshots, that is to say to grab in an image what appears on the screen at that precise moment on your LG G Stylo.

There are applications that can perform this functionality, but fortunately you do not need to install any additional app as it is included in the Android 5.0 (Lollipop)| upgradable to 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system.

First method:

If you want to make a screenshot to your LG G Stylo you have to follow these simple steps:

Estimated time: 2 minutes.

1- First step:

First we go to the screen to which you want to make the screenshot of your LG G Stylo, be it a web page, chat or application.

2- Second step:

Press the power key simultaneously and the volume key down. If you want to capture a video the procedure is the same but pressing the power key and the volume key up.

3- Third step:

The captured image is automatically saved in the gallery of your mobile/cell phone LG G Stylo.

You can find the image gallery on the home screen, it should have a photo icon, an instant photo or depending on the version of the software installed, it is possible that your image gallery application is Google Photos, in this case look for the icon of a four-pointed star made of paper with four colors, one for each point.

4- Fourth step:

Open the image gallery, the images and photos will appear sorted by date,, click on the capture that you just made on your G Stylo, and you will be able to edit it, trim it or send it to your contacts or through your preferred social network.

To capture a screen shot without the QuickMemo feature, press both the Power/Lock Key

(on the back of the phone) and the Volume Down Key (on the back of the phone) at the same time. The captured image is automatically saved in the Gallery app in the Screenshots folder.

Press and hold the Power/lock and Volume down buttons simultaneously.

Note: To access screenshots, from the home screen, select the

Gallery app > Albums tab > Screenshots.

Edit or share screenshots immediately

Immediately after taking a screenshot, a notification will appear at the bottom of the screen. Select the desired option:

• SHARE A SCREENSHOT: Select the Share icon, then follow the prompts to share.
• EDIT A SCREENSHOT: Select the Edit icon, then edit screenshot as desired.
• DELETE A SCREENSHOT: Select the Delete icon.

Where is the snapshot button?

Press the Power and Volume down buttons at the same time. If that doesn't work, press and hold the Power button for a few seconds. Then tap Screenshot.

How do you take a quick snapshot?

Press Ctrl + PrtScn keys. The entire screen changes to gray including the open menu. Select Mode, or in earlier versions of Windows, select the arrow next to the New button. Select the kind of snip you want, and then select the area of the screen capture that you want to capture.
