    Klink has his first escape

In this episode, the gang has a date to blow up an ammunitions train that is passing by the camp. But before that can happen the barracks gets a new prisoner in Captain Martin. Martin has been shot down and was captured by the Germans and brought to Stalag 13.

As usual, Hogan is leery of any new prisoner so he goes through a series of screening situation to clear the Captain. He also gets a report from London that confirms Martin as a flier in the division that he gave. Hogan feels comfortable enough to let Captain Martin in on all the operations of the unit. But unknown at the time, Captain Martin is really an agent working for the Gestapo.

Here is an episode that takes us back to the staple of the series. It is interesting to see the many situation that is given to clear Martin- which makes the viewer feel easy about the young prisoner. Yet we find out that all things are not what they appear. An entertaining episode that put the viewer right in the middle of the action. Nice watch.
