Fibrous papule of the nose removal near me

Overview of Mole / Wart / Skin Tag Removal

At Medaesthetics, we specialise in scarless, cosmetic mole removal using State-of-the-art dermatological Lasers.

Up until recently, surgical excision (and stitching) along with cryotherapy (freezing) were the only techniques available for removing localised skin lesions in a GP setting. These old-fashioned techniques often leave scars worse than the lesions they remove and are now obsolete in high-end cosmetic surgery practices.

Using highly precise CO2 & Erbium Lasers, we can now treat a whole spectrum of benign skin lesions in as little as a few seconds.  These includes:

  • Raised Moles (dark as well as colourless)
  • Flat Moles and freckles
  • Skin tags
  • Moles on eyelids
  • Seborrhoeic Keratosis (Age Warts)
  • Warts (not viral warts)
  • Xanthelasma (yellow, raised cholesterol deposits on eyelids)
  • Syringomas (small raised bumps around eyes)
  • Enlarged Areolar (nipple area) glands
  • Tongue papillae (Round, raised lesions on the tongue)
  • Eyelid Cyst
  • Fordyce Spots ( Small, whitish bumps on the penis)
  • Milia, Vaginal Moles and Skin Tags
  • Dermatosis papulosa Nigra (Wart-like small, dark, raised lesions around eyes, cheeks, forehead, neck in people with dark skin).

Dr Jadoon is one of the leading dermatological laser physicians in Australia and an expert in using CO2 Laser for treating various skin conditions. Over the past 20 years as a doctor, he has successfully removed over 20,000 moles/skin tags. He is one of the first doctors in WA to introduce CO2 Laser for mole removal in clinical practice.

Important:

  • Any skin lesion has to be clinically examined by a doctor to determine if it's benign or suspicious. At Medaesthetics, all moles are first clinically examined by Dr Jadoon and a thorough medical history is taken. We only remove moles which we believe are non-cancerous.
  • When choosing your treatment provider, it is important that you choose a doctor who is an expert in laser & cosmetic surgical procedures. Most GP clinics do not have the equipment and experience in removing skin lesions without leaving visible scars. At Medaesthetics, we successfully remove several thousand benign skin lesions using lasers every year.

Frequently Asked Questions

At Medaesthetics, we remove non-cancerous moles, skin tags, milia etc using:

  • Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Laser (for raised mole)
  • Pico and Nano Second Q-switched Lasers (for flat moles)
  • Radio-wave surgeryCO2 (Carbon Dioxide) and
  • Erbium-glass laser (for raised moles)

Dr Jadoon is one of the pioneering doctors in WA to use CO2 Laser for mole removal since 2010.

The lesion is numbed for 30 minutes using high-strength numbing cream. For larger moles, this is followed by a local anaesthetic injection using a very small needle. Once the area is numb, the mole is then carefully removed using the laser beam.

There is usually no bleeding associated and since the skin is not cut there is no suturing required either.

The majority of cases heal without any scarring or discolouration.

  • Once the area is numb, there is usually little to no pain associated with the treatment.
  • Some patients may feel a slight hot/burning sensation if the mole being treated has only been numbed using the numbing cream and local anaesthesia injection has not been given.

Yes. Using the precise laser beam, we can remove any skin lesion from most body areas.

  • The majority of raised skin lesions such as moles and skin tags do not grow back once they are removed. However, some do grow back occasionally (less than 5%). This is because the human body has the ability to regenerate tissue.

It is not possible to predict which moles or skin tags will grow back. A touch-up treatment can easily be performed to fix any recurring moles at a discount price.

  • Flat moles usually require 3-5 treatment sessions in most cases.

The risk of scarring with the laser mole removal technique is extremely little when performed by an experienced clinician. We have performed over 20,000 mole/skin tag treatments over the past 10 years and have not had any cases of visibly noticeable scarring.

It is important to understand that once a mole is removed, the treated area can stay reddish/brown for several weeks and slowly regains the normal skin colour. Some patients think that this is scarring but it is not.

Absolutely. We see dozens of patients each month for laser scar removal. Most GP's cut any suspicious moles out and send them for biopsy. A majority of these moles turn out to be non-cancerous, but disfiguring scars are left forever.

If you have any scars, please take a photo and send it to us via email. We will be able to let you know the cost of fixing the scar and how many sessions you may need for visibly noticeable results. For more information on our scar removing treatment, please click here.

  • Moles and Xanthelasmas (yellow cholesterol deposits in the eyelid skin) : $350 to $450 for first mole/ Xanthelasma depending upon its size and location. $50 to $150 for each subsequent mole. For more than eight moles, we offer a discounted package price of $1000 to $1500.
  • Milia, Syringomas, skin tags, warts: $350 to $800 per 15-30 min session (up to 30 lesions)
  • Touch-up treatment: $50 - $150 per mole (raised).

Note: Cosmetic medical procedures are generally not covered by private health insurance or by Medicare. All fees are discussed with you before the procedure. There are no hidden costs.

WHO removes fibrous papule of the nose?

However, patients can expect to see a significant improvement in the appearance of their skin after just one session. If you are considering laser therapy treatment for fibrous papules, be sure to consult with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who has experience with this procedure.

Can you remove fibrous papule at home?

In many cases, you can treat your papule effectively at home. Avoiding materials that irritate your skin can help clear the papules. Some additional treatment steps include: Don't scrub your skin during cleaning.

Can fibrous papules become cancerous?

A fibrous papule of the nose is totally benign and never becomes cancerous. The growth usually develops as a small, raised pimple like area on or near the nose. It sometimes is flesh colored. It may be slightly red.

How long do fibrous papules last?

A very superficial wound results. This is covered with Vaseline, and will scab over and heal over a period of a few days usually between 5 to 7 days. A dressing is not required unless it is in an area that is prone to rubbing or chaffing in which case a dressing is used to protect the skin until it has healed.
