Calus mini tool crafted god roll Reddit

It's rolls are pretty middling. As long as you have incandescent it's going to be nearly as effective in pve, regardless of the other perks.

I run fluted barrel, accurized, enhanced threat detector, enhanced incandescent with a range masterwork.

If you play on a Hunter with one of the many, many knife spam builds or a Titan with the throwing hammer then use Enhanced Grave Robber and Enhanced Incandescent.

Some good fragments to run with that would be;

  • Ember of Ashes - You apply more scorch stacks to targets.

  • Ember of Torches - Powered melee attacks against combatants make you and nearby allies radiant.

  • Ember of Searing - Defeating scorched enemies grants melee energy

  • Ember of Char - Your Solar ignitions spread scorch to affected targets.

  • Ember of Eruption - Your Solar ignitions have increased area of effect.

Enhanced Incandescent applies extra scorch stacks and so does Ember of Ashes so you will probably be seeing a fair amount of ignitions. Char and Eruption both help with those. As long as enemies are close-by you'll keep spreading scorch and killing them which will refund melee energy with Searing assuming you don't already get your melee recharged free (Hunter with Knock Em Down aspect or Titan with throwing hammer) which will keep reloading your weapon to let you keep shooting stuff and causing explosions that spread more scorch, etc. all while being Radiant and getting 25% extra damage.

Reload MW, since this appears to be a PvE roll.

I'm torn between Threat Detector and Unrelenting on this. Normally I'd say Threat Detector, but this is a solar SMG with Incandescent, which means you're probably running a solar subclass, which means you're probably using the aspect that buffs the hell out of your reload speed after precision kills. So Threat Detector comes off as a bit redundant at times.

Unrelenting spends a lot of time not doing anything meaningful. Until it does. And then you'll be glad you have it. That's the problem with this perk, you'll see it save you a few times and then you're reluctant to take if off, even though it's meaningless most of the time.

I like arrowhead break, because it frees up the mod slot for quick access sling, or enemy specialization mods, for masterwork, and magazine I go accurised, and range, for good range.

For the perks that really matter I go threat detector, because stability, handling and reload are goated on 900s, and Tap The Trigger because it maxes out stability, and massively raises accuracy for .7 seconds. Which is longer than 900 smg TTK.

It is also great in PvE, because it helps consistently landing headshots, and not being taken off target by recoil. Consistent headshots are more damage than dmg perks can offer.

If you are using it purely, and only for ad clear I would recommend unrelenting or threat detector, with incandescent, because they seem like the best perks for that.

Hey guys,

Which god roll would you use for the calus mini tool? I have crafted it and it’s on level 22.

Than I need the perfect build for this weapon - what would you recommend ? (Maybe an YouTube link )

level 1

I put enhanced unrelenting / incandescent on mine, but grave robber good too. Might try moving target but I like the sustain from unrelenting

level 2

I've gone with threat detector as it's pretty much always active on an smg . Stability is 74 , handling 77 but range is only 27 so I'm not sure if to go a but higher with range

level 1

I’m doing unrelenting and incandescent

level 2

I’m keeping an enhanced incandescant/unrelenting roll, as well as an enhanced surrounded/threat detector (or unrelenting as well).

Both Surrounded and Incandescent get huge benefits when enhanced (and are just great in general), and Unrelenting and Threat Detector are gonna have incredible uptime.

level 1

I’m using Smallbore, Flared Magwell, Enhanced Threat Detector, Enhanced Incandescent, and a Range MW. I’m an Arrowhead Brake FIEND on most guns, but since I don’t ADS SMGS very often, Arrowhead is pretty useless to me. Range is a 47, Stability is a 63.

level 1

Enhanced grave robber/normal grave robber. Fluted/hammer flared mag. You NEED enhanced incandescent

level 2

I went enhanced threat detector/enhanced incandescent. I also went arrowhead/steady rounds because i wanted stability but unsure on those 2 tbh

level 2

Is enhanced incandescent that much of an improvement? It doesn’t sound like it on paper.

level 1

I will probably go Grave Robber when I get one more red border.

I've been enjoying my Moving Target/Incandescent drop in all modes though.

level 2

I'm swaying more towards threat detector but I'm not sure on the best barrels and and masterwork

level 1

Enhanced TD/enhanced incandescent is the roll for me. I tried unrelenting and grave robber before I got my 5 reds. But enhanced TD just feels so good

Edit* this is a similar conversation to when Eyasluna first came out. On paper unrelenting/headstone was the roll to go for, but again after getting both of them outlaw/headstone was the one I mained

level 1

Depends on the class/subclass you want it for.

For a knife build hunter I find graverobber is amazing. But for other subclasses it's a waste.

Threat detector is probably the most useful unless you're doing a specific melee build.

level 2

I went for threat detector as I jump from one class to another dependant on mood.

level 1

Polygonal / flared / threat detector / incandescent + reload mw

level 1

Hunter main that spams abilities here (fans and tripmines). Enhanced Grave Robber and Incandescent is amazing. Barely ever reload and everything explodes. Pretty nice.

level 1

For Titan Bonk, Grave Robber is pretty nice. For other classes, Unrelenting and Threat Detector are both great.
