I love this company because it stays a long time without fading. But unfortunately this one wasn't so great. When you first put it on it looks amazing. But by the second wash the blue tone is gone. I guess it shouldn't be such a surprise because I have yet to find one that the blue actually stays. But i must say that even though the blue faded to quickly after 2 washings but the black stayed nice and shiny for the rest of the time. Plus it is a very dark black. If that is what you are looking for.

Once I found this dye, I have never used any other brand. The plum black is a perfect deep deep purple black and covers grays perfectly. (I've never used any other color so I can only vouch for plum black.) I also use it to tint my brows.
1:1 ratio is easy mixing with 30 developer.
As you go through shampoos you may run with color, so use
dark towels, but hair stays dark. Powerful Color even on my "meh" brown and grey hair 😂

The reason why I gave it 4 starts, is because the color was too dark. I wanted a nice medium brown and the results came out to be a dark brown. You need to order a higher shade of color. The next one I’m going to order is a medium blond.

I have been having trouble covering my grey (I’m probably 50-60% grey on top & sides) This has been the best I have used so far! And it didn’t stain my skin! I used 8A & it’s perfect- no gold hues and no purple/grey effect. I just do my roots so this tube will last me almost 3 months.

Age Beautiful provided what no other I've tried could. Others would not provide enough color no matter how long I let it process and what little color that did absorb faded within a couple of washes. My natural hair is totally silvery gray and has grown thin and wiry. This product colored it to the exact shade on the box leaving it soft, shiny and much healthier looking. No yellowing, no blue looking, no dryness. Just right. I love it.

I purchased 5AA, wanted to tone down the brass and go a bit darker. After reading reviews I bought an addition color tube of 6AA and mixed half 5AA and half 6AA to lighten up the color. I’m glad I did the ash browns are very dark so my result was a dark brown; I’m happy with the results. I mixed with the 20 developer and left the dye in for 45 - 50 minutes since I’m about 60% gray. When you purchase the hair color you need to buy developer, bowl, brush, gloves, etc. I’ll buy this brand again it leaves hair healthy.
