2K Games servers include some of the biggest titles and when there’s problems, then you might find your favorite game not able to play online. This includes the likes of NBA 2K, Civilization, Borderlands, WWE, Evolve, and other popular games for the biggest platforms that obviously include PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
If the 2K servers down you will notice a number of status updates by Product Reviews readers, although you should also share any problems you have with the title and platform to help others as well. Any official 2K Games statements will be featured below, along with planned maintenance and downtime.
Is 2K game servers down on Tuesday November 1, 2022 for you? As we mentioned above, name the platform and exact game you’re playing that cannot connect to servers below. Also, if your issue is not related to a complete outage, then try and detail what the error code or message is you receive.
The Steam pages for all 2K games [except 2K22 and Battlegrounds] now mentions that the servers will be shut down next month.
NOTE: All multiplayer servers for WWE 2K20 will be shutdown as of 6/30/2022. After that time, all game functions requiring online servers will no longer function.
Don't think many people will care, but for those of you that do... yeah.

I think it might have had some hiccups early in its release but it’s nothing like their last two games. I’m at the point where I want 2k to lose the license, even if it’s to EA, just to get a playable game next time. I’d rather see their first effort than another one from 2k. I’m done with that franchise. They can’t make a playable game

They did. If you google it all the articles are about 2k19 and 2k20 servers shutting down. The others have been gone for awhile
edit: All WWE 2k releases had planned server shutdowns at launch and the dates were printed in the manuals. 2k19 was supposed to shutdown March of 2020 and 2k20 was scheduled to shutdown March 31, 2021 but they got extended for obvious reasons.
As of now 2k22 has a tentative shutdown date of December 31, 2023

Yeah, they did. 2K basically always shuts down the servers for their annual sports games a few months after the next one comes out.
They made an exception for 2K19 because of how poorly 2K20 was received.
I always found it funny how much shit EA would get for shutting down the servers on sports games that were like four years old when 2K and Sony (for MLB The Show) have been routinely doing it after like 15 months for years now.

Cannot stress enough - BACKUP YOUR SAVEDATA on a USB stick or something so you always have it.
Because if the data for any reason gets corrupted 2 months now and you have to basically start over, you won't have access to re-download ANYTHING from the Comm Creations portal, nor can you do local uploads even for your own personal use. You're stuck with the stock in-game images/logos only.

This may be dumb questions but would any external hard drive work for backing up save files ?? And would I be able to backup data from two separate profiles onto one hard drive ?
