AUX and USB not working
I have a 2012 Ford Fusion that I have bought used. I have not owned it long. I was able to sync my iphone 6 plus to the car but cannot answer via bluetooth if someone calls. Also when I put an AUX or a USB cord in to play music through my Iphone it does not work. Any ideas why??

Welcome to the site, willsweeps99. You might want to remove the pairing and re-pair your phone to see if that helps with the Bluetooth side of things. The aux cord is unrelated to that, did you make sure to select AUX mode? Also, have you read through the owners guides for proper operation?
As the driver of a 2011 Ford Fusion, You may be experiencing an issue with Your aux input port no longer functioning as it should. There are a couple of things that could cause this to occur. First, You could be experiencing a disconnection of the jack port. If this is the case, You should access the wiring in the stereo system. Check for loose or damage in the connections, and change the wiring as needed. This can cost You between $20 and $53 on average. If this is not the problem, check the fuse box for a blow radio fuse. If the fuse needs to be replaced, You can expect to pay between $12 and $54 for parts.

The aux not working might be a result of a disconnected jack port, and might require opening the radio. Try a radio reset first.

My phone and Aux Buttons are no longer functioning on my 2010 Fusion. Only the AM/FM and CD buttons are working.
I press the Aux button and the sound disrupts on the radio for a second and it goes back to the radio. When I press the phone it no longer connects and does nothing. The command button on the steering wheel no longer works either.
I disconnected my Ipod nano from the USB port and reconnected it but it didn't fix the problem. The Ford logo on my Ipod is no longer displaying like it used to.
I tried finding a way to reset the Microsoft SYNC, but have not been able to find the information.
Anyone experience this problem and have a solution? I believe I am running the latest firmware offered.
Thanks,
Tim

Recently bought a used 2010 fusion (idk if the engine or fuel type matters for this so I wont bother) and my aux cord came in today. There was nothing on the site about the aux not working, but when I plugged it in to the car and my phone, turned on the car, hit the aux button, and hit play on my phone, nothing happened. Volume on car and phone was maxed, tried connecting the other sides, nothing. The only thing that seemed to be off was that the port itself was a bit wiggly, and also horribly positioned (inside the central console? really?).
I know it isn't the cord or phone, as I tested it in my mothers Jeep and it worked perfectly, and another aux cord also didn't work in the car.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix, or am I stuck with a dead aux port?
