If you are like me and are at the following points in your progression:
- are maxed out at level 27
- need 120,000 Xp for a shot at 3 donuts
- have five stars in your progress
- have extra land for some temporary farming
- have a boat load of extra money (I'm at 45 million) and nothing to buy
- but are out of donuts and want more!
Then here is what I have been doing to get "free" donuts every four hours
This of course will work for any building you can farm. However none build in four hours like the kwik-e-mart. I am currently experimenting with the other buildings to see what the Xp is with five stars. I will do the math and post which is the best value. Unless someone beats me to it and I hope you do.
I assume there may be a better way with buying a decoration in mass but that is more work then I feel like doing now. Hopefully someone else will and we can have a thread of what items pay out the max Xp versus $$$ versus time spent.
Until then this my strategy:
With how my city is set up, I have found I can build about 150 buildings before it starts freezing up on my iPad.
Each kwik-e-mart costs $20,500 ($3,075,000 total) with a resale value of 5125 ($768,750 total) and a total cost of $2,306,250
Every time it finishes I receive 5969 xp per building with my five stars
So for every 4 hour build I earn 895,350 xp. Which at a cost of 120,000 Xp earns me 7.46125 chances at three donuts.
Extrapolated out that gives me 22.38375 free donuts every four hours for a $2,306,250 or $103,032.33 per donut with a 150 kwik-e-marts. Which isn't really that much if you think about it and if like me you pull in about 100k a day anyway.
However I am leaving out the fact that you may not get three donuts every time and will have to spend the extra money for the extra scratches but those are the chances we take.
I hope others are interested in what item is the best to build versus time versus money and we can get a really good list going of the values.
I know this thread is not for all of you, as the money is absurdly high for most, but some of us have been playing for a year+ and have been looking for the best way to get free donuts. This discord was out of action for a brief period but I have been informed by the admins that it is back up and on top of this, the bonus has been upped to 1000 free donuts. Here is the message I received from the admins.

Visit the donuts-chat room and leave a comment “!donutsplease”. The marge bot will respond to you with instructions on what to do next. You will need to leave a follow up comment “!joining”. Marge bot will respond again and make sure this is queued up. A member of the team will be in touch with you to request your details in order to award you the free donuts.
How Does This Work?
I am not sure how it works. I would assume there is some sort of hack that can be done to make this work but I am not sure what they actually do to make it happen. Due to the number of people in the community and the amount of comments from people who have joined, it is a risk free method to get donuts.
Can I Trust Them To Give Me Donuts?
Yes. There is a chat in the community for proof. Everytime someone either buys donuts or is awarded them for free, they will post proof of it happening. Read over this if you want to be sure it is safe. I have used this myself and can confirm it does work.
Can I Get Banned For This?
I spoke with the moderators of the community and they have assured me that EA is aware of this and does not feel the need to take any action on it. They appear to have gotten their blessing. I am not part of this moderation team, so I can’t confirm this but I have used it and I have not gotten banned for it.
